New Jersey reg. -0.5 +? - Odds aren't available yet, but I will be on New Jersey to win in regulation. Will post pick and writeup when available.
NY Rangers reg. -0.5 +128 - The Flyers have won 3 in a row, but the Rangers have also won 4 of their last 5. In their last 5 games the Rangers are scoring 3.20 goals while allowing only 1.60 goals. Leighton has allowed 3.49 goals in road starts this year although he has been better with his new team. I'm not convinced the Flyers struggles are over, so to get the Rangers at home with these odds is worthwhile. The Flyers also have a slight look ahead to the center stage New Year's Day at Fenway Park. The Rangers have won 5 of the last 7 meetings, all in regulation.
San Jose reg. -0.5 +111 - Both teams are averaging 3.60 goals for in their last 5 games, but the Sharks are allowing 1 goal less than Washington. In their last game, the Capitals were upended by Carolina 6:3 at home. They now had to travel across the country to face a streaking San Jose team which has won 5 in a row. Nabokov has been exceptional at home allowing 1.98 goals per game. This is a great spot for the Sharks to pick up a win in regulation.
