Our first one goal game of the tournament and maybe our first dog winner outright. The Slovaks seek revenge for the loss to their hated rivals in Turin on this same stage. As we see many times in the NHL when teams lose a key guy how the rest of the team steps up and plays beyond themselvesand the team actually performs better, the wounded bear theory. I think we may see some of that here with no Gaborik. I created the +1 play on my own by simply buying part of the play at +1.5 and part of the play on the moneyline. Found decent value. Taking a shot....

As explained with the play I combined a puckline play with a moneyline play, the same way I play all my -1 NHL plays and yes they generally come out to the same value as a regulation bet perhaps better if you hunt as you are combining two plays so you can find more value often and in this case we had.

Slovakia ml  +287      40/114.80    to be exact...I rounded off the 20 cents

Polar I understand you are counting your bet as 100/165 on +1, but with a normal +1 you would get the full 100 back with a one goal loss, and with your numbers you would get only 60 back. Right?

No cause your +1.5 play is a winner if you lose by 1 so you get the same amolunt back bro....In this case I would actually have won 10 bucks had it been a 1 goal loss....60/50   you get your 60 back plus the 50 that 1.5  bet won    you lose the 40 you bet on the moneyline which cuts out or into the 50  you won on the puckline.....

In  a weird spot watching this game right now...I want Slovaks to score to push my +1 bet but I have the under 5.5 play so don't want to see anymore goals.....If it stays just like this I win 55 bucks today after all this.....But hey it beats the shit outta losing especially with that damn larger Swede play today....All the others came in to save the day...so far......
