LRR: my position is and has been that more intervention is the only way to create a mature posting environment, and it sounds like we share that view. However, I'm convinced its not going to happen because Covers Staff only ban for clear abuse/bashing and not for immaturity and overzealous homerism which is at the root of the problem IMO...

Homerism is the MAIN problem and reason this is clearly more of a sports FAN site than sports BETTING site
I suppose one must accept that they have chosen to follow this mandate for their own reasons and make our own decisions as to whether we want to continue to talk BETTING here in these conditions ...many have already made the decision to walk and we can only hope to see them again in October...

Wow I went through about 12 pages of chatting and goodtimes about old days in Toronto and where I work here in Toronto with Clepto and Johnny one day and with vicb as well and we talked pretty specifically about places and parties here dating back years and talked about those two dudes even coming by for a drink and vic also invited us by College street for a drink. I live and work in Toronto and work the door of a couple of clubs/lounges here, I welcomed visitors to prove this point which I thought was pretty big of me seeing as we are all just letters on boards and avatars to eachother on here so not much more that I can do. I am a life long Flyers and do love sharing opinions and hearing them and try to be constructive but I guess I share opinions resembling that of this kid I am supposed to be.
Anyway people will think what they want despite me and my open invitations to come meet me at my places of work which again I thought was pretty big giving an open invitation out into my private life.
No worries anyway, I do enjoy this forum from time to time despite all the animosity and childish bullshit and if it comforts people to refer to me as someone I am not so be it. There are certain peoples convos and opinions I respect and enjoy on here so I will focus on that if and when I am in here.

I think the Wings need to step on their throats early or we could have a new champion.....Your thoughts
