All started with Malkin bouncing a puck off a RETREATING ISLES SKATER GOING TO HIS OWN BENCH NOT EVEN LOOKING AT MALKIN OR THE PUCK OR THE PLAY when Malkin had the entire left board or could have skated it out of the blueline himself.

Why'd he bounce it off the Isles player?

And then Fleury doesn't even attempt to poke check the puck on the attacking Isles player for the 6th goal. A simple stick out wouldhave knocked  away the puck.

Looked like they were throwing the effing game. Disgusting.

If the Penguins goaltending or defense shows up...the series would have been over tonight. Islanders have lots of life. A ton of pressure is on the Penguins now.

Fleury still needs to mix in a save every once in a while... You're an nhl goaltender... figure it out

Ya Norbert. thought the return of Neal and Orpik would be the elixir to cure the Pens ills and scared me off the Isl's bet. Neal had a goal BUT in the end it didn't make a damn. IF Bylsma does NOT change to TV for game 5, it's gonna be a "first round OUT" once AGAIN for Pittsburgh.

Letang with giveaways, Martin with a giveaway  let alone Malkin on the winning goal. Both of these goalies have been just spewing out rebounds like there is no tomorrow and I can't remember the last time I have seen a team score more off the boards or from behind the net than the Islanders in this series. Some of that is luck, mostly it is MAF just flailing around. Orpik looked rusty, which is too be expected but the Pens defense has looked slow or conversely, the Islanders speed has made them look that way. Not selling the Pens out on this series, but a change in goal must be forthcoming. I miss Kennedy out there, I think Iginla has looked good, but to me Morrow looks like age is creeping up on him a little.

BINGO, jimbeam. Flower is a HORRIBLE "technical goalie". he's always off his angles or "half way to Homestead" out of position. he's very athletic  BUT that doesn't cover for his bad positioning. TV on the other had is a "geeezer" that doesn't try to do too much and it WORKS. his end of the season numbers show it

I agree Flutie, Murray has looked incredibly slow, as each game goes on. I am looking forward to Vokun being in net next game. Fleury needs to regroup in a big way.

MAF is under contract I believe until the end of the 2015 season.

 At the game last nite ,man the Isles are like a new team,fresh and ready.To my surprise they outplayed the Pens ,where I posted the other day they would lose to the Pens,because the Pens before last nite ws taking them lightly.Well I was wrong  Pens were doing what they had to but wasnt enough, Dont know if they can keep it up in Pitt , and I do have Pitt in a 3 way series Parlay with Rangers and Sens, but the ICElanders have showed  that they belong in ths playoff,.Almost wouldnt mind them winning the series if it means a NY NY playoff.

As usual the Bandwagon long ilander fans were out in force  again last night.Unfortuatly its too latefor  the front running fans  who havent filled the building in 3 years except when the Ranger fans  take over there building.Too little too late fans, Next stop will be brooklyn  with that  bush league Broooklynnn chant  raining down on the team  ,What a shame you fans let your team  leave for the big city

MTFN50 you have no idea what you're talking about if you think fans let this team leave. Nassau County politics being corrupt and awful is why this team won't be playing at the Coliseum anymore. Has nothing to do with the fans.

wrong ,If the fans kept up and supported there team the county which is corrupt,couldnt pull off what they did .It was all about the decrease in revenue over the last 4 or 5 years the numbers dont lie.  The only life in the building  was when Rangers  or Devils  would play. Even a Boston game there would be  more opposing jerseys than any other arena you would go to. and now the front running islander fans  are sorry  they let the team down.  Im sure there were still the diehards going ( and living 2 towns away I know many of them) ,The honest ones will tell you the fan base let this team get away   Listen to wfan this morning ,many people called up saying the same thing .Sorry its a fact .Maybe like the Nets the Brooklyn islanders will have support again . The county wasnt gonna back a team that was down 30% in the last few years.If the fans didnt disapear and the revenue increased last few years the couldnt back out of the deal The fans gave the corrupt county execs the out they needed.

Funny how the county is letting a groups led by the Barclay backers , Dolan and Msg  and 2 other groups bid on  the revitilazation of the Mosileum and the area once the fanless Isles let the deal go through for them to leave.   Did u know part of the Barclays group proposal includes having the Icelanders play 3 or 4 games a year back in the long Island building?  Other teams like the Rangers and Bruins have had very long stretches of winning nothing and still they sell out every game.  Geuess the best thing for the francise is a fresh strat in BROOOKLLYNN

I wish the Isles would play out of GTA (Toronto), that way they kick the laffs a$$es on a consistant basis.  Btw, Penguinos are TOAST!!!!

we will see. TV goes in goal in game 5 Thursday @ CEC. he's had success against the Islanders this season and the Penguins seem to play tighter D in front of him

The fan base let this team get away how?

The county voted down the August 1st referendum for a new arena and the county government voted down all of Charles Wang's proposals to build a new arena with his own money for years. Blaming the fans is wrong they are leaving because the county wouldn't let Wang build an arena but I guess blame that on the fans
