Going into the playoffs I thought Tampa was going to be vulnerable on the defensive side and thought they could make an early exit based on what I was seeing towards the end of the year. They have looked better but to be honest with you they haven't looked great either. Boston was out playing Tampa badly in game 4 but Vasilevskiy stood on his head. The refs blew 2 major calls in this series that benefited Tampa both times. the no call on marchand on the breakaway in game 2 and the no call on the trip in the last game right before Stamkos scored. Have to give credit to Tampa for hanging around and tying the game but they were sloppy as hell last game and were simply outplayed, combine that with the fact that they have received 2 huge calls in their favor and that is the result of a 3-1 lead. Not hating on Tampa, but it's just simply the truth.

And as I said before, they weren't playing particularly well to end the year and that's what I was basing my opinion off of. You can't just assume teams will play well in the playoffs just because they had a great regular season and I thought they clearly had some holes in their game that could be taken advantage of in the playoffs. I still say this can go 7 but I don't think they'll lose 3 straight so I'd be surprised if they lost the series
