a -400 moneyline, as tempting as it is with this perceived "mis-match" looks, is just plain NUTS esp in NHL regular season. that's a 25 cents return on the dollar. think you either chance the Sharks -1 1/2 -120 (up from -110 overnight) OR you DON'T bet them

this AIN'T NFL or NBA. win/loss don't mean nothing IF you are laying excessive "juice"

Food tastes better the air smells better commercials aren't so annoying when you WINNNNN.. sharks lost two in row and after outshooting phx by over 25 shots and losing they want this win BAD .... -1.5

Regardless if this bet hits or not that's some pretty bad money management SJSharks99. You might give back all your season winnings and some after the night is done.

So it occurred to me as I maxed out my bets on SJ -1.5 and S.J. In reg...

That the last time I paid this amount of juice was a long time ago... It was on the Sharks, in the playoffs, against Col. #1 vs #8. Game 3 series tied 1-1. Sharks outshooting the avs so bad i wasnt even sweating it except the fact that craig anderson was playing out of his mind!!! Game was headed to OT but i figured as long as Anderson didnt score or the Sharks didnt score on themselves I'd be ok....

I don't even want redemption tonight as that'd call for a lucky bounce. 

Lets win this convincingly and save the lucky bounces for a much smaller wager...

@ gator - the sharks dominated that playoff game and ya Anderson stole the show for the Avs. I know the sharks will throw 45-50 shots at the net tonight. But I see 5 going in

WOW... Just the way people are talking about putting "Quarter", "Third" or "Half" of their BankRoll on this game makes me feel worry for you guys...

I wouldn't feel good knowing it's a BOMB public play..

I know what you mean. 
I think we're all aware of the risk we're taking and taking a shot in a pretty good situation. Haven't heard anyone use the L word or say the sabres have no shot... They do. Im aware I'm poking my head out and exposing myself, and IF I win it'll be a longtime before I do it again.

Thanks everyone... And like gator said nobody in this thread said the L word. Hell I even admitted buffalo could steal one. I simply don't see it happening but that's why they play the game
