Vancouvers population is predominantly Asian and the racial slurs were allegedly directed at the brown and yellow people that travelled to watch the team in Boston.

Its frustrating when you have the best team on ice and the other teams goalie has outplayed you in EVERY series.. Esp when your goalie is supposed to be THAT good.. Its frustrating.. Its very up and down..

Dont mean shit...EA sports has been right for 8 8-12 years on exact finishers and van is picked for game 7..No surprise,Boston fights good at home .however Van holds the explosive keys .so hang on.Home ice is as bitch..ask Chicago,Nashville,Sanjose?

So it's the meaningless slashing and roughing after the whistle that's causing their power play to be rendered ineffective, their defense to look tired and vulnerable, their goalie to look questionable and their best forwards to look out of sync?

Vancouver's supposed "captain" gets worked all over the ice physically and can only respond with dives. In fact, both of the Sedins are getting worked over during and after the play and neither sister has responded like a man. Kessler is clearly banged up, the defense looks tired and the power play has been neutralized by a very aggressive PK. I'd say the Bruins are simply outplaying and outworking this team, in addition to intimidating them. Blaming it on the antics after the whistle is totally missing the point.

There were two soft goals that Luongo let in for sure.  But I guess it doesn't really make any difference where they can't solve Thomas.

I think they mentioned Boston was +25 or something 5 on 5....Vancouver was something like +2 or -2. 

If Vancouver's PP doesn't go, they are pretty average.

Seriously.

Not sure how you can be considered a great hockey team if you can't weather the standard chippiness of post-whistle playoff hockey. If that's their excuse, that's pretty gutless.

PB I have always felt that way even though my team is BOS I want to see as many Canadian kids get their names on it as possible.

It's nice having a parade for the city (doesn't matter where) but the special thing is when these guys get to bring the cup home for 2 days and celebrate with family and friends who supported them.

When my buddy won the cup in 96 with Colorado he had regular party and  then a private party for all his close friends and we drank everything out of that cup that you could think of. You can't do that at the hockey hall of fame.

loved when marchand came over the boards and was harassing sedin. we have a little rookie smacking around the captain and sedin wouldnt even look him in the eye, Mary-Kate and Ashley Sedin are in lala land out there.

the nucks just can't handle the style of the bruins the constant hitting throughout the game for 60 minutes is throwing the nucks off the way they want to play.  don't get me wrong they are hitting also and are able to keep up for a period but for the whole game i think its getting to them

crazy stat,  game 3 it was cam neely night and they scored 8 goals,next game was bobby orr  night and the scored 4, i think they should have ray bourque night next home game 77

People who arent even hockey fans are coming up to me at work being like "so the nucks are gunna win tonight" or "go nucks go". It sickens me as a hockey fan to see people cheering for something they know nothing about just because its a "Canadian" Team. Its like cheering for the Sens or the dreaded Habs. Like comon people who gives a shit if their CANADIAN....we live in Toronto and have the maple leafs if you havnt forgotten. If you wanna go live on skid row or in that dirty city they call Vancouver....then I have no problem with you cheering your city and team on. Just dont bring that shit to my beer store and expect me not to bash you all the way out the door.

Cry cry cry ....Want to know how to stop slashing and roughing? ..SCORE when you have the power play. Van has had plenty of power play chances. The hab-nots did a good job of scoring on the power play so Boston was taken off their game and the hab-nots made it to 7. As for fans berating opposing fans....Try visitng some countries when soccer is played. You will be lucky to get out alive if your wearing the wrong colors in the wrong section.

Comparing the underdog, hardworking Canucks team from 1994 to this team is comparing apples and oranges

Lapierre almost single handily turned this series around in game 2

Emotion has so much to do with this game, to me, hockey is the most emotional of all the 4 major sports

Lappy put his fingers to Bergeron's face in that mock bitting incident that started all this in Boston
Maxim Lapierre and Patrice Bergeron know each other and talk to each other in the off season
Patrice is a respected member of that bruins team and what Lapierre did was over the line

The entire Bruins team has rallied around the incident and reminded them the kind of scum on the other side

CBC interviewed some Canucks fans that said when they first got there they were drinking beers with Bruins fans and having fun, but following the Rome/Horton hit things changed...

Racial slurs, threats of violence, and one guy said a group of Bruins fans tried to get into his cab and drag him out.

I'm glad for the city of Boston that a Dodgers incident didn't happen and no fans got beat up because of something that happened on the ice.

It pretty sad how a few idiots can act like over a game.

Now I am reading how the B''s being physical is knocking the Nucks off thier game.

                    When the Canucks lose, it's always Luongo or the Sedins fault. They love Kesler and Burrows though. I like the Canucks but they have the dumbest fans in the league.
