Big card
for me today. Most likely my final card, too. Going to the Leafs/Panthers game
tonight. (OH BOY…are they gonna boo McCabe). Will be around for a bit before I
head out.
(2 UNITS) Pens Team Total Under 3.5, -108: Knowing my luck, Pittsburgh will choose this game to break out
of their slump. Still…way too good of a deal for a team who has scored a total
of 8 goals in their last 7 games, and are playing their 3rd game in
4 nights.
Thrashers +1.5, -150: Interesting stat…Atlanta is 11-1 ATS off a loss of 2 goals
or more. Pens have lost 7 of their last 9 home games, and are playing their 3rd
game in 4 nights.
Pens/Thrashers Under 6, +115: This game should be 5.5. I think the only
reason it isn’t is because an average of 6.4 goals have been scored in Atlanta games, and an average of 6 goals in
Pittsburgh games. But let’s talk about the
RECENT past… Atlanta has scored 10 goals in their last 5
games, while (like I mentioned above) Pittsburgh has scored 8 in their last 7. Too
much value in this one to pass up.
Bruins Team Total Over 3, -113:Boston has averaged 4.9 goals in their
last 14 home games. Minnesota’s tough to beat, but I expect a push
at worst.
Sharks
-1, +127: Square
play?Indeed. But Calgary is playing their 3rd in
4 nights, whereas San Jose has only played once in the new
year. The Sharks almost blew it against the Isles on the weekend. They won’t
make the same mistake here.

of their slump. Still…way too good of a deal for a team who has scored a total

Capitals -1, +112: I wanted to bet the team total, but it’s at 3.5, and
I can see a 3-1 or 3-2 score. Biron has given up 3 or more goals in 10 of his
last 11 starts. As a team, Philly has given up 3 or more in 5 of their last 7
road games. Saturday was the very FIRST time this year that Washington failed to score 3 goals at home.
Theodore has been solid lately, winning his last 5, while posting a 2.05 GAA
and .922 save percentage in that span.
Hawks/Coyotes Over 5.5, -108: I took the under in the last meeting and
it was 4-0 before I could blink. IMO, this is looking like a 4-2 or 5-2 game for the Hawks.
Hawks Over 3, +102: If this game were in Chicago, the line would be 3.5. Chicago doesn’t care where they play. They
still score goals, and have averaged 4 per game in their last 14. Kings/Ducks
Under 5, +117: Steve
Mason’s streak of unders came to an end. But guess which rookie goalie is on
one of his own. Jon Quick’s last 5 starts have gone under the total, averaging
3 goals per game.
As always, GL to all.

You should bet the team total. Flyers coming of 5 game west coast road trip and this is their last road game before heading back to FU, Wachovia or whatever they are going to call it now Center.
I see them coming out and leading 2-1 at the end of the first but Caps rallying in the second to win 5-3. That is the Flyers typical MO in this yearly january match up in DC with the Caps

Sorry about the post from last night. Right after posting I checked the pens score to find out the bad news. I went to lock in my plays yesterday and the lines were unavailable. I caught a break b/c I would have been 1-2. Anyways, I am very interested in the ATL/PENS game tonight.
PENS HOME: 8-9-1-1 ATL AWAY: 6-10-3-0
@NY L 0-4 TB L 1-4 FLA L 1-6 VAN W 4-3 @BOS L 2-4 @CAR L 1-3 BOS L 2-5 MON L 2-3
Pens have lost 5 straight. They have not scored more than 2 goals in 9 games with a 1.2 goals scored pg avg (last 10).
I see this one as a coin flip and the ml value for ATL +190 is big. The O/U line at my book is at 6 and +115 U??
I see this game as 1 of 2 ways. Either the Pens finally breakout of the scoring slump and win big or more likely the Pens continue to struggle on offense and the Thrash pull out a W in a low scoring contest.
My plays ATL ML and U6 parlay 2 units to win 10.5 units Pens -1 1/2 and O6 parlay 1 unit to win 3 units

Interesting stat…Atlanta is 11-1 ATS off a loss of 2 goals
or more. Pens have lost 7 of their last 9 home games, and are playing their 3rd
game in 4 nights. This is a great stat Weeble. I didn't see this before deciding to lock my plays in. Sounds more and more like an ATL cover or win.
Lets make some $$$ tonight.

I'd stay away from the side. Ottawa playing 3rd in 4 nights. Sabres
playing 3rd in 6 nights. But what sean said about Auld has some
validity (5-1-1, 1.91 GAA, .959 save % career vs Buffal). I see a one-goal game either way. Wouldn't lay -200 on the
Sabres, but I definitely wouldn't back a team who has 1 win in their
last 15 road games.

Thanks man, but like I said, I'm staying away because it's at 3.5 and I could see the Caps scoring 3 goals and still winning. BOL.

No worries about the post. You didn't control the outcome.
I have this knack for fading a team at the wrong time. Thus, I don't have the balls to take Atlanta ML. Still...even if they lose, I like them to stay within 1. BOL.

Thanks man. It came off the Lion's Tee shirts they're selling around here. "Winning When It Counts" 2008 Preseason Champions, rebuilding since 1957. The Lions are such a mess, its hard to be a fan w/o having a little fun with em. The only team that I know of to celebrate a winless season, we had 0 and 16 day here in Detroit it was great.
One last stat on the Pens/ATL game, Under is 7-1 in the last 8 games played in this series.
BOL to everyone tonight

Yesterday: 3-0 (including that tremendous Canadian win) YTD: 10-3
The Flyers play the last of a six game road trip tonite and have lost 3 of 5. Their PP has hit just once in 15 tries and have allowed 7 goals in the PK. Those are just not good numbers when you are playing the Caps who have won 9 of their last 10. The Caps have tighhtened up the PK allowing just one gaol in the last 4 games while scoring 4 PP goals in just 12 chances. I like WASHINGTON.
Nashville has lost 4 straight and 9 of their last 12. Have scored just 2 PP goals in 10 games and a grand total of 6 goals in their last 4 games. The Avs are hurting but they beat this team with ease at home just a week ago, upset possibility.I like COLORADO.
Good luck Weebs Good luck everyone.
