Besides Blaine Lacher?&#xD;&#xA;Lacher ended up being a "flash in the pan" which really suprised me. he was unreal when he played for the Lakers @ Lake Superior State. started out great with the Bruins BUT fell apart his second season. very similar career to Jim Carey

Jim Craig only for his olympic heroics. Believ it or not the Bruins had Bernie Parent in their system before he went to Philly, played some games too, and they drafted Ken Dryden in the 60&#x27;s. Two of the greatest goalies slipped through their hands.

Best two performances of Boston goaltending in the last 40 years were #1. Tim Thomas 2011#2 Gilles Gilbert 1979Cheevers was a winner but he was not as good as Tim Thomas/Personally l start to consider Timmy Thomas for hall of Fame. 1 more cup and he is  a lock

Thomas had a great series &#xD;&#xA;, but Gerry Cheevers was the best , more talent ,quicker glove hand ...much .better on skates and quicker on feet then thomas , much  better techique  , &#xD;&#xA;Cheevers was  best  at cutting down angles  not giving up rebounds , handling the puck . smashing the ankles of opposing players.no one stood in front of the net with him .. he was really unique  he did everything well .

Bourque was on the local radio a few weeks ago...he has Thomas first, followed my Moog and Lemlin...he also said Chara was a better defensive defenceman, which sparked some good convo.

&#xD;&#xA;i dont know how much of Cheevers ,  Ray Bourgue actally saw ,  i would think  probably ,none ....,thomas moog and lemlin,  that&#x27;s   too stupid , Cheevers had more talent than any of these mentioned ,  its not even arguable ..&#xD;&#xA; he also said Chara was a better defenseman than , Orr , which was ridiculous . so much for Ray Borque opinion on anything .

Ray bourque was boy 9 and 11 growing up in canada , far removed from Buston and the Bruins when ORR  and Cheevers won two stanley cups .....his opinion is worthless .
