Traditionally I do ok with this tournament. I think the key is to remember that the gap between the elite 6 to 8 teams and the rest is closing.
My plays tend to increase once I start to get a feel for the teams. I try and watch as much as possible.

The other two games I have no feel for. Russians tend to coast early and throughout the round robin doing the bare minimum but I can't necessarily back Sweden in this opening game. Canada usually starts out slow at this tournament as well and they are playing a traditional power. Czech +1 +117 has value but as I am Canadian I do not want to have any monetary interest in my team.
This is a great tournament with lots of good hockey. I will actually be going to the one in Denmark next year.

we should have tailed our country as we are both from Canada! we will get them next time but for future reference betting against Canada is never a good idea these guys really don't care how many goals they score on you. you said Canada isn't the type of team to run up the score.... but are you watching this game vs Slovenia? they are just slaughtering them still scoring goals in the third period up by 6 goals this is upsetting you put me on this play. 2nd game would be Latvia vs Italy ov 4.5 @1.85 I think that Latvia will start strong and push for some early goals. They have played really good recently, their attack is in really good shape now they are using powerplay pretty good and condition in team is great also. Although, I think that Italy will score at least some 1-2 goals, because they won't back down they have nothing to lose. I predict 5-7 goal game.
