BTW, disagree with you on Crows being better team. They just have a massive home adv. I was going to play Crows, but I think Giants have a good enough chance to win that I'm gonna pass and just enjoy. I got burned by the Crows at home v Cats... Giants beat the Cats...
No, I meant GWS is the better team. And therefore they should be favored, like the Dees, but they're not. And we saw what happened to the Dees, so that's puts Adelaide in play.

Mate, isn't your play on the Over the opposite your call on the Port line?? As in, line moving such that the "obvious" play is the one NOT to play?
Yep. Which is why I had originally posted the Under in the Freo match was my Play of the Round.
And yet it seemed too easy so I looked into in and flipped it.
Statistics and line movement aside, there were many things I liked for that Over once I looked into it. And it should have hit, all things considered. A thousand ball-ups, both teams playing tempo footy starting in the 2nd Quarter , and a ton of I50s that didn't amount to anything. Came 11 points short and it should've blasted over.
At any rate, I don't play totals for much to get worried about, around 1/5th of any game line I play, so I don't mind being a little more crazy or loose on what I take with the totals. 0-3 today on them though. I am the ultimate totals fade. I even had the Play of the Round correct until I faded myself and lost!
Should have faded myself fading myself to win! RAAAAHAHAHA!
At any rate, the Saints/Dockers game was a smashing four quarters of footy and a thrill to watch. Well worth the punt on it to do so.
And I get the stats from various websites.

Let's go Saints! Agree line seemed a bit low, but not fishy like the Power one IMO
Yep, American.
Nice hits on the Lions and Saints! I really didn't see anything I liked this round so I just screwed around on the totals. I don't get dirty with myself if I lose those since I know I'm absolute rubbish on them to begin with.

Well, just realized that the Melbourne/Port Adelaide game went Over! Turned it off at the end of the third term as I thought it was buried. Late goal got it through. Wow.
So, not jinxed at all I guess. 1-2 on totals this week. Would've had a winning record if I didn't outthink myself on the St. Kilda/Fremantle match. Hahaha.
And look at Adelaide! Just as we called it! When the better team is not favorite, or getting points, you have to reckon it's too good to be true and have to back the lesser of the two sides.
Port and the Crows showed that this round.

Good luck on that total, OKC gonna roll DD. I put some on -10.5.
How did u discover AFL? I'm American, but lived in Sydney past 5 years. Had never heard of it before that.
Lived in Japan and have a lot of ex-pat friends. They turned me on to Oceanic sport about 20 years ago and I've never been the same since. Aussie Rules is my favorite sporting event and I reckon it's the greatest game on Earth. The athleticism, stamina, play-making, and teamwork is unlike anything else in the sporting world. It is simply the greatest sport. Period.
Super Rugby and NRL is fantastic also. I watch and follow those every round as well.
Barely watch the North American stuff anymore. NHL is still good though. There;s just no comparison to AFL, NRL, and Super Rugby.

Pretty crap round, but content to get out with 6-8.
Completely agree on AFL being the best / my fave sport. For all the same reasons you mention. It's like NBAmeets NFL. Not a fan of the rugby, I find it too one dimensional, sort of like 1970s NFL. I enjoy a bit here and there, for big matches etc.
