OK, just saw the live feed on the telly.  Looks halfway decent.

Going against my gut and initial lean..............

Geelong -28.5 for me.

The two weeks off plus Ablett is in and the confidence gained by those in the Dream Game should do the trick.

Weather isn't bad enough for me...

I think the wet weather will suit the cats a bit more, they have bigger more skilful bodies

20-13 to the Tigers, End of 1Q.

Thing is, the Tigers played much better in the first, yet are lucky to be up.  Can we see another one of those amazing Geelong spurts?

Geelong wins by 26, I can see it, and I piss my pants...........

Same here.  Was leaning Richmond ALL WEEK.  Until 10 minutes before bounce.

I guess the weather is having a decent enough effect as it is limiting the skill play.  This hurts Geelong more IMO.

Still, Richmond should be up by 20 the way they played in the 1st Quarter and they are not.  Good news for Geelong backers.

Geelong is finished.  If anyone can get in-running odds, I'd suggest pounding Richmond.

Geelong look tired and Richmond sniff about them a victory.  They can see they'll get the chocolates for being the first to beat Geelong.

Ugh.

Geelong pulls some super shit out their hat after the Big Break or Richmond wins this this straight up.

Instinct should have prevailed, but I am hoping for a miracle here.

Did enjoy the Ablett triple-tackle, mark, then behind assist though.  Superb play and best effort of the arvo, IMO.

Richmond look like they can sniff the win, so they are playing heads above shoulder.

Geelong look satisfied to stay close to pip the end, like versus Sydney.

This is where those 1-39 wagers would be satisfying....right about now.

GL to all, especially those who backed Richmond.  I am not giving up yet, but that was the "smart" play and I stabbed myself.

Tozer mate, whats we got for the Second Half?  A little voodoo and hockus pocus?

With the wet its harder to score as much but its similar to the cats last match, the score was relatively even most of the game until the last 15 mins when the cats pulled away when it counted, here's hoping they can put a few unanswered goals on the board.

I'm up 10 units for the day so I don't have to sweat the lions pick, although it's my best pick of the round and I'll think they'll win comfortably.

Good job with Brisbane. I'm such a degenerate I don't even know what this sports is but bet Brisbane -8.5 since you were big on them. You had 4.5 but teams seem to win by 100 in this sports so I didn't care about giving another 4 points. I went to bed and woke up to see a 33 point win.

wow dude you need to chillout a bit lol, reading some of your posts a bit further up.  Reminds me of one of my mates who follows NBA with me, he freaks out in the first qtr when they're beding. 

Weren't you telling me that you liked the points with Richmond anyway?

Hahaha...no man, I am very chilled out when I watch the games late at night.  I was just flopped in my sofa with very bad posture cheering every Geelong mark.  I am sure the posting and the icons make it look like I am having a heart-attack during the match.  Flip that 180.  Hahaha...    I did say though, after the 1st Quarter and Geelong being down, that by the pace of the game, Geelong looked the winners by 26.  I wasn't too far off and that was a pretty level-headed statement IMO.



Got 4 more and the cover.  Woot!

And yep, I did like the points with Richmond until I saw the live feed 10 minutes before bounce.  I didn't think the conditions were severe enough to hurt Geelong enough to stop them covering.  That's what changed my mind...

was raining the whole time, perhaps worse than it looked on tv... but I guess there has been worse.  How do you get your feed?  Here we had on tv but I know not as easy for you?

I think I had been expecting heavy wind and a muddy pitch.  Looks like the drainage on the pitch was well taken care of and that was a big factor in me jumping sides.

Adelaide/Melbourne
The weather has cleared up a lot today (in Adelaide and Sydney) and I'm more comfortable taking some type of bet on the crows now. If there was a prop bet where you could take the tam that scores the lowest score for the round I'd bet big on Melbourne. I just can't see how they are going to score many goals, making it much easier for the crows to cover.

I'm not sure what bet to take yet.

Possibilites;
Crows -39.5

or

Parlay:
Crows -24.5/Swans -24.5

drainage is good these days. back in the 80's, early 90's haha different story

Try not to parlay if I don't have to, so I've decided to take the big line. The crows not only have one of the best defences but also the quickest hands, being able to keep possesion working the ball from defence through the midfield, impressive to watch.

I don't think they'll let the Dees come back a few goals in the last term (unlike the lions have done 2 weeks in a row).
