one thing you can't do is draw comparisons between this stuff and the NBA, because most if not all NBL players would be dead, yes dead, not breathing, no heart beat, toe tags, the lot by about mid-december if they were thrust into an NBA schedule.

Back to back is a big deal for these blokes nowadays. Due to the state of the NBL quite a few of the players are now semi-pro anyway and work part time jobs or part own franchises ect.

Gary Boodnikoff for example owns a Subway franchise. Many would quip that his game also has "six grams of fat or less" nowadays too
