Larsson is getting the free ride as Cancellara as his carrot.

As is Wiggins.

Top 3 chances can be anyone of Cancellara, Wiggins, Larsson, Martin and Zirbel. What's the bet I get 4th again. But this time 4th and 5th.

Larsson started 1 minute ahead and Wiggins two and Cancellara has caught them both.

They ahve fucked up with these 1 minute gaps. Cancellara has caught the three that started ahead of him.

Looks like I'm going to get 4th and 5th for the top 3, but the value was there in $9 and $20 so the only thing I complain about is the UCI using 1 minute gaps. If they used 2 minute gaps, Zirbel and Martin would have podiumed. Not to worry, was close again.

As I said that there was justice. Wiggins had a bike failure and waited a while to get a new bike.
 
It's a matter of Martin or Zibel for third now. I don't care which one finishes third. I hope Larsson falls off so I can get second and third.

As with the top 3, Martin came home. Zirbel was 4th. So the value was spot on.
 
Boasson-Hagen was obviously tired from Brittain where he won those 5 stages, including 4 in a row.

So for the world's I'm 1.4 units up.
 
Regards to the women's road race, I have no idea, but the USA look strong. I'll be researching into Armstrong to do the double. I may play something, I may not. Nicole Cooke would have be the favourite. It's either Cooke or Armstrong.
 
Mens under 23 - Leigh Howard is Australia's leader and he's won races lately. He's probably a bit too raw for a race like this, although he's climbing exceptionally well. He said he is focusing on the world's and probably leave it at that for his season, so he could do something considering this could be his last race for 2009.
 
The guy I like most in the Under 23 road race is Teejay Van Garderen. The yank should have the legs.

I went 2-0 in my prerace calls which I couldn't

Went 2-2 on the prerace bets I placed winning 0.12 units

But I placed 10 units under 1 min margin.  Wiggins was supposed to finish 2nd within a minute from Cancellara but he had troubles with his bike and his shape.

Ended up 2-3 -9.8 units

Cancellara is too strong, nothing else I can say.

0-2 in margin betting, I should stop it.

Sammy Sanchez is over the odds. So is Kirchen and Kreuziger.
 
Cunego I might play that price. Valverde won't win. The Spanish will be riding for Sanchez.

I think the spanish team will be based around Sanchez. Cunego is on a high and preparing for it. The first two bets are risky.
 
The Gilbert, Kreuziger, Schlekc and Kirchen bets are solid.

4 units Peter Kennaugh over Mirco Saggiorato @ $2 - It's into $1.64 now, but I got it earlier this afternoon. It's a risk backing against the local boy, but Kennaugh is part of a strong Great Britain outfit. It's his last amateur race and he wants to go out on a high. It's unclear who Switzerland are riding for, but I like this bet and like it a lot.
 
3 units Gianluca Brambilla over John Degenkolb @ $2.10 - The Italian team is strong as so is the German team. I think Germany's better chance is Reimer, hence why I'm taking this play.  
 
3 units Martin Reimer over Dennis Van Winden @ $2 - Reimer should be Germany's man. There's a few guys ahead of Van Winden in the Netherlands squad.

The first two bets got up with relative ease.

The last one, Reimer abandoned on lap 9, but when Van Winden was 5 minutes down at the start of the last lap, he like everyone else decided to throw in the towel making the bet void. Thanks to the Dutchman there. I owe him.
