heh I hate bet365 since they killed online inplay bets. I only cashed in there again recently cause I got a reload bonus after being inactive for several months. Can get better odds on most things at pinny and the sportsbet/sportingbet. I took Crows on there as I figure they will cover 100 and want to knock off the rollover.
Why do you like bet365?
tbh I didn't check the weather in Adelaide early this morning when I laid my bets, I was a bit under it. It was 89.5 this morning.

What a whacky day of AFL. Bombers and Carlton over ruined by poor kicking, Port had more inside 50's than Pies and just got the cover, they should have won SU.
Wet weather helps out the Giants to a reasonably competitive loss.
Lions decide to play football this week, Ablett is apparently injured just after I bought in my fantasy team, and burnt by 1.5 points on the Eagles game, which was once again, caused by atrocious kicking.

Yeah bro definitely a big fan of b365. But totally agree with them turning to shit after stopping 'live betting'. I personally blame the Aussie government though for being fucking idiots!! Whats the deal with them making live betting compulsory over the phone. Surely they have no clue the sort of money they are missing out on?!?!? But one of my reasons for liking it is i believe b365 is slightly behind when it comes to Aussie rules. A good example was Tigers v Dees. Sportsbet had the line at -30.5 and b365 were -26.5. It happens often too. I also punt on the NBA quite often and b365 has a bucket load more betting options IMO.
Good hit on the Pies today. Was definitely the smarter option in regards to weather. Should of held on to cover though. But they didnt back on the horse

I cancelled my account with them mate. They asked me why and I told them.
I also told them that they had tightened up with their bonus bets and free plays and they told me it was all discretionary. I called bullshit because I had been playing more and betting more but the plays decreased.

There was no reason for bet365 to enter the market here, sure the gubmint are all fuckheads and the laws for online betting by phone only is archaic. But what was the point? If anything they've made it less appealing for Aussies to play there. If they're going to lobby the government for in play betting, good on them. I'm sure the pre-existing aussie books like sportsbet/sporting will capitalise on that the most with their establishment through the media/sponsorship. The public knows who TAB, Sportsbet, Sportingbet are. Bet365 have no brand recognition with the Aussie public.
Sportsbet have 8 cent lines for most things, sportingbet 9 cents, pinnacle you can get evens on some lines that are juiced at 15 cents on bet365, dogs are better value on pinny by up to 50 cents.
I agree, one positive for bet365 is they do often make errors on AFL, like posting totals early (midnight to 5am morning before game) based on scoring averages without taking the weather into consideration.
Notice now they take awhile grading bets too, they used to be graded and paid out within a few mins of the event finishing, now I've had some popular events take over an hour to be graded. Maybe they are using the helper monkeys from sportsbet?

Dockers without Sandilands, Blues without Carazzo. Freo will probably be able to cover the loss of a ruckman more than Blues will be able to make up for the loss of a key midfielder. Have to go with the home side with a just over a goal head start for almost even money.
Dockers +7.5 1u $1.99 (pinnacle)

Bit of a dodgy game to cap with the line on 12 and there's no value in pyol with the -5.5 at 1.45ish. While Brisbane don't often blow sides out Titans have a habit of leaking a lot of tries. Can't really decide on if Brisbane cover or not or if it goes over or under.
From looking over the markets this stands out as a great value bet.
Brisbane Score First & Win 1u @ 1.80 (sportingbet)

Fuck it. I know I'm down a 3 units and betting on an expansion team could very well put me 6 units in the red, this is normally a game I'd stay away from but what the hell.

Last 3 at Etihad between Dogs and Pies have been 10 & 36 point loss in 2010 and a 24 point win in 09. Doggies generally play better at Etihad, they knocked off Carlton as +20 odd point dogs there last year. Collingwood are only averaging about 2 goals (1.7) more on the scoreboard than the doggies.
Collingwood are steadying for the season, had a close fought win over the Bombers on Anzac day, few extra days rest. Bulldogs off a trip to Canberra and will want to make up for a dismal performance against GSW.
Collingwood to win by about 25 points.
