Hawks -13.5 is the play tonight. Swans have been fantastic over the past 8 weeks but Hawthorn have been even better for the whole season and history suggests the better performed team ends up winning in week 2 of the finals when the number 3 & 4 team lose their 1st final in week 1. I reckon Goodes playing his 300th game will help to keep the game close for most of the match but I see Hawthorn really breaking away in the final 5 minutes of this game and although the media typically gives no credit to Geelong for playing such good defense of Rioli, The Sydney Swans haven't got the cattle to contain him the full 90 minutes. The Hawthorn midfield will finally get on top and I suspect Hawthorn won't risk playing Franklin as they would fancy their chances of winning without him anyways. If, only if Ryan O'Keefe plays the same way he did last week then they have a massive shot at winning but...he's been on the slide for the past 18 months and he won't have a similar match this week around. Hawks without Franklin win by about 5 goals and go onto to play Collingwood at the MCG next week
