It's early... just posting my thoughts.

Kings @ Breakers
Breakers screwed lots of people (me big time) against Melbourne. 21 turnovers is shocking. They should win but the Kings are hot at the moment. Their last 2 were 90+ and that Melbourne game was the only game below 90 for them. That total is 169.5 and the only thing stopping me from pulling the trigger is the extremely low scores the Kings had in the first 2 rounds.

Hawks @ Taipans
Anything could happen. You would go with the home team in a game few people would want to watch.

Sixers @ Cats
Well, the Cats should win and probably by the 13.5 but you could see them cruising to a 10 point victory and hurting punters. The over is worth a look. Perth should get 90+ so it's really a question if Sixers can get their 75.

Blaze @ Crocs
Should be the most entertaining game of the round. Gotta go with the crocs but leave that total alone. Blaze can't be trusted with a total.

Tigers @ Hawks
This has to be the my best bet with the Tigers -2. The tigers should be the third best team in the league and the Hawks on the other end. The Hawks so fight at home but they shouldn't be able to match the talent for the Tigers.

Tigers line moved already.
I haven't seen Showtime but I can't see him making big changes. He's only been with the team 2 weeks and I would expect Mills to be stronger.

Will be able to check that out on Friday night.

My lines for this weekend were : 

Perth -14 
Cairns -4.5
NZ -8
Blaze -2
Tigers -1.5 

so probably not a lot doing for me as far as sides go this weekend given that the posted lines are all within a point or so 

waiting on a few teams to find their pattern as far as scoring / totals goes - they've been all over the place thus far. 

ppg has been around 160 the past couple of seasons, so far this year it's up at 167.

Wollogong just signed a GREAT point guard from Fresno, California.

I was wondering what the guard play in this league is like? He makes a lot of high risk decisions but in turn he gets a lot of steals and easy buckets.

^ had a glance at one of his highlight reels the other day - looks like he'll be a handful to guard. 

bit of a mixed bag as far as guards in this league go, their weaknesses are often pretty noticeable but then again that's why they're in the NBL. 

what the really lacks this season is size. Obviously every team has someone who plays in the 'five' spot but few of them are fit to tie up a centre's shoe laces let alone be one themselves.

I think he'll be handy but I still put my money on Mills. 

The kid looks to be a good worker, quick and skillful. He's just not going to make that much difference... the hardworking Hawks shouldn't beat the talent of the Tigers... but they are at home so it should be a good game.

Thank you for both of your responses.

Everywhere Showron has gone he has turned teams into winners.

In Canada he took a program that had only been to the national championship stage a handful of times right to the finals, which of course they won. 

In Switzerland, I believe he led the league in a majority of statistics (pts, steals, assists).

I was reading on the Cairns site that Wollogong has had problems handling the ball? 

Look no further than Showron Glover. One of the best handles, change of speed and the ability to finish in the lane.

I really wish I was in Australia with you guys so we could go watch the game and see him put on a "show" while the Hawks upset Cairns even with all their injuries.

I think Showron will be an exciting player which 'Gong need. Their other import is another quick, athletic guy so they could be a good combo.

Wollongong have a number of players slowed by injury and are unlikely to have new import Showron Glover cleared in time, but Tragardh knows first-hand the challenge the Hawks’ team style presents.

The over is a likely option when he gets cleared. 'Gong aren't going to play a slow game with their players.

In regards to the Hawks lineup this has just been posted on the Wollongong Facebook page.

Roster updates for this weekend: Larry Davidson will miss tonight's game against Cairns - Concussion and will be subject to medical test for Sunday. Rhys, Tyson, Ozzie & Mat will all be right to go after minor injuries this week. Showron has been given clearance and will suit up this weekend for the Hawks.

Pity I didn't know Bose was out of the Kings game. He was really good last week so I would have gone with the Breakers / Under.

Mate if you check this link on a Thursday arvo it will usually tell you the injured players that are out for the weekend.

Boy does the Hawk need a good floor general at the moment, if Glover is anywhere near as good as Ervin, then the potential upside for this team is huge. The only question mark I have on this team is that both Campbell & Saville are 35+ yrs old & are a few steps slower. Mcleod is a solid coach & has a habit of bringing the best out of his roster.

I'm on the Cats TT over 90 for the late nighter.

I like that Cats TT over 90. The only risk is 36ers slowing the game but the Cats should control it. If Centrebet had that bet, I would be on it too.
 

I'm not going to only do some small combos with the Taipans 1H -3 and the Cats ML with the International Rules OVER 99.5

I want to see the impact Showtime has and I might pick something at the half.

Gong started really slow but were on fire for the second part of that 1Q.

13-6 turned to 16-21. 

Showtime only got 36 secs in the 1Q.

Taipans suck... in this game they do.

Took the 1H over 82 in the Cats game with the rest of my profit from the International Rules.

Yup Carirn sucks...against an undermanned Hawks outfit...and at home too.

It's funny, that we can't see live NBL games, but TAB shows live phillipine basketball games...hehehe

It's a shame coz that Cats Sixers game looks good.

I just hope that game drained Gong a little before Sunday's game. I'm on Melbourne for sure.

easy win on the breakers tonight, really liking the crocs tommorow night by about 8 points and melbourne should get over a fatigued wollongong good luck to all

I grabbed the Cats -7.5 at the half... that's turning out real bad.

You would think that Herbert, Johnson, Mitch Creek and Ballinger all on 4 fouls at the start of the 4th should mean the Cats roll them... but it's not happening yet. HURRY UP

I really don't know how to explain the games today. 'Gong control the game and then the Sixers owned the Cats.

That Cats game really confuses me. If you told me that the Sixers would shoot 60%, score 100 points and beat the Cats at home, I probably would given you 1000-1.

Not getting that last foul on the Sixers key people and then K-Lisch fouling out half way through the 4th isn't logical to me. 

I'm not going to punt on NBL for a couple of weeks. It's too unpredictable at the moment.
