Men's Draw

GBR over US -1.5, 5.7 units to win 4.5. Interesting there must have been some action on the U.S. as it went from -132 to -114.

Nor/Swe under 11.5, 3.7 units to win 3. Sweden +1.5 vs Nor, 1.7 units to win 1.5, also straight up 1.5 unit to win 2.65 units.

Den/Germ over 11.5, 3.1 units to win 2.5.

Swiss +1.5 vs Can, 1.5 units to win 2.3, 1 unit to win 3.

My big plays as you can see are the States/Canada under, Japan over Russia in the ladies and Scotland over the U.S in men's.

Edin has has some success against Norway, so I have played him and I am wondering if Martin has a little let down after the Murdoch game last night and perhaps the Swiss can keep it close.

Back to the ladies for a second, McCormick hasn't exactly been shooting the lights out, but Bernard can only win so many games on last rock, so it is worth the play.

Speaking of Bernard, they have played well, but she has also "just made" a couple of her game winning shots. They have already released a line on the night game tonight and at even money I am on China, for 4 units vs Canada.

Hey, I think you have a typo as Den/Germ over on the women's side was at 12.5.

McCormick is going to single handedly cost me 10 units. I am amazed how she can't throw a rock to her sweepers and continues to pitch them through the house. The only way this under is hitting is if there is an early quit.

I forgot how stressful it is watching women's curling especially teams that have no clue on strategy. First Japan, makes a great hit from the wings in 9, to go up 1 playing 10, then Russia played the entire end to take one, never even thinking about being aggressive to play for the win. Her strategy almost pays off, as Ohmiya the second for Japan throws an absolute death shot, that should have sealed our fate. Thankfully, Meg makes a nice tap back after coming around a long guard, not only for the win, but we luck out on our -1.5 bet. Incredible. From misery to elation. Pick up 7.9 units this morning, to bring our total to 58-44 +43.67 units.

Not so sure about that China ladies bet tonight now. Bernard team played a great game this morning.

Thanks heavens Jason Smith buried one around the corner guard for the U.S. as it forced Great Britain to draw to the house to give us our -1.5 win. Nice shot by Sweden in the extra end also.

What a good game to watch last night between Canada and China. Bernard finally missed her last shot, for the first time this week. That and the Sweden game put a good ending to the day, as we had into the second last round robin day at 67-48 +56.77 units.

Morning Draw- Nothing overly appealing to me. Mostly going with morning unders.

Fra/Nor under 11.5, 1.7 units to win 1.5.

Watching the Germany/Japan ladies game last night, I think Grabovski, could have used the Germany Skip and Vice-skip to back him up in his  bar fight in Vancouver.

Thanks for the kind words Seymour. Those early morning Men's unders continue to come in. Sweden aside, things are shaping up nicely after five ends in the ladies draw today (Sweden aside). My big play has Swiss up 6-3 at the break and I think as long as Japan can score one more point in the game, it should hit.

Ryeguy, all with you on Denmark. Have put 5.5 units to win 5 on them vs France. Also decided to play the over, which I normally don't do in France games, over 11.5, 2.5 units to win 2.

GBR -1.5 vs Germ, 4.3 units to win 3.5. Murdoch is all time 10-2 in head to head matches vs Kapp. Also played the over 11.5, 2.16 units to win 2.

China/USA over 12.5, 5.2 units to win 4.5. Also China +1.5, 2 units to win 1.5 and 1.5 units straight up to win 2.

I really feel for these teams like the States, China, etc that are out of medal contention you always have a tendancy, to play more aggressive, creating more overs. You are out of the running, so you may as well put lots of rocks in play and have an entertaining game.

Will update record later, it was a good day, but could have been a great day had the Danes pulled it out. China was our saviour last night.
