Aussie, do you have an opinion on the Melbourne vs Sixers game on Friday?

I will most likely be playing the majority of these games as well. I just need to find out who is in the starting line-up though because I think Josh Boone is out with an injury and he is a key element. Ben Simmons would surely want to put on a show against Melbourne as well so little sceptical in taking United in this game.

Nigeria vs USA

China vs Australia

Belgium vs France

Canada vs Spain

So rumours have it that the Spanish tanked that game vs Belgium the other night to avoid playing the USA in the next phase. Smart if you ask me, because the winner of France/Belgium goes onto play the USA in the semi's whilst the winner of Canada/Spain plays the winner of Australia/China. Meaning that if Spain can beat the Canadians and also Australia or China, they will get to the final and play the USA then. Much better run for them to do it that way rather than meet USA in the semi's. Either way, the Spanish still has to play Canada which isn't an easy team as well as Australia hopefully so no matter what, its a tough ask to reach the final either way.

Yeah mate, I wouldn't consider Tenerife to be a major home court advantage for Spain. When I looked last time, the Spanish were the in the bottom 3 for turnovers which is not going to win you a championship or even a semi final if they don't stop doing that. For me, the Canadians are playing with plenty of energy and confidence and being down 15 against France and then pulling out the win would have given them even more confidence. France look to be struggling against the taller teams so lets see how they go against the Canadians.

Germany. Very nice country mate. I have been several times and have very good memories of German especially the Bavarian region.. Neuschwanstein Castle has to be the most amazing castle I have ever seen in my life. Your English writing is very good. I am always amazed when people can write and talk in more than one language. Unfortunately, I can only speak English but I am one day hoping to learn Spanish because I just love the language.

USA vs Nigeria: Under 166.5

This total for me is too high. One, the Nigerians have to start feeling buggered after playing 4 games in just 7 days. Secondly, the Americans surely have to start playing some D? I think they can. Nigeria win and stay within games thanks to their offensive rebounds and 2nd chance points (mostly Akhator) but tonight she has a big ask against the USA girls who have played against her before in the WNBA and really know how to stop her. If you eliminate their 2nd chance points, then I don't see Nigeria scoring much. They are the 2nd worst 3 point shooting team in the WC and I don't see the scoring much over 50 points against the USA. Could be completely wrong but this game I think ends very similar to the USA vs Senegal score line of 87-67.

interesting double digit line Chogarz. I like the Australians in this game but its a big line to cover and considering the Aussies haven't played since beating Turkey with ease, I feel as though China might actually give the Aussies a good close competitive game. I would leave the Chinese to cover the line because the Aussies shot well last game from the 3 point line and I don't expect that against a good team like China. Should be a good game but personally think that line is a little to high.

Thank you Brew. The Nigerians started off great but USA were horrible in the 1Q. Then the last 3 quarters ended up 62-23..

Cantwinemall - I have a feeling that this game might be a little deceiving with the total. China v Japan had a higher total yet the Aussies are much better offensively then Japan so why the total drop? Either the Aussies come out and smoke them and we see a blowout win and China stop scoring due to blowout or we see a Game which remains close and could go over or under

The USA Nigeria game was beautifully manipulated to cover the spread by one...if ever a game was scripted to help a fav cover, that 4th Q is the definition of how to do it
