Tonight we have a great game in Townsville with the Wildcats taking on the Crocs. Crocs rested finally. They had been travelling a far bit before this game. These 2 teams have already met this season with the Crocs stealing a MASSIVE win in Perth 66-63 win which is very rare. Only 129 points in that game. Well, Perth finally hit some offense last outing knocking up 91 which is also rare for them but I think that continues against a Crocs team that does not defend at all.

I'm with you on this Aussie. Love the play and with Prather back in for the Cats that's instant offence. Look at the last 4 between these teams in Townsville, all have gone over this total.

Now we get double revenge for the Wildcats when these 2 teams meet again in Perth on Friday. Quick turn around for both teams. Hopefully Perth will be something like -8

Yep, throw in the Martin injury too.. Cats are usually strong off a loss and there's sure to be a little extra mustard on the dog with this one.. Not sure the line makers will be as generous as you hope though.. I marked Perth -13 favourites earlier in the week

Agreed Jive. Martin's injury will make this win sweeter for the Cats. The line is out on sportsbet. Line is in the middle of our guesses. Its -11.5. Interesting. Would like to see how the Crocs have done in the past on short turnaround.

We got Breakers hosting the 36ers and the terrible Kings hosting the amazing and sharp shooting Melbourne United. Not touching the Kings ATS anymore. This team is the worst to try and read. Watched them vs Melbourne last week and they just have no flow about them. Terrible shot selection and terrible ball movement. Looking into the first game. NZ may want some revenge for their loss in Round 1 at Adelaide as the 36ers thumped them 90-71. Will see if there are any injuries.

Sorry fellas, didn't play the first game although I did like the 36ers (posted under Blindfreddie's thread) but didnt lock it in as a play.
Melbourne United @ Sydney Kings: Melbourne 1H TT Over 43.5
Why not? They hit 50 last weekend vs the Kings. They had 42 vs the defensive minded Wildcats, 46 vs Cairns, 55 vs the Crocs, 44 vs the 36ers , 53 vs the Hawks and opening night in Townsville (their only road game so far) they had 43. So out of 7 starts, they have eclipsed this total 5 times missing by 1 and half a point in the other 2 that went under. Watching the game last weekend, the Kings had no answers. Goulding, Holt, Blanchfield were just too good for the Kings and to tell you the truth, the Kings don't really have a home court advantage. Been to the stadium before and it does not go off at all unlike some of the other home courts. I expect United to come out strong 1H but don't like taking the road fav's often but expect maybe something like 47 points in the 1H from the hot shooting Melbourne team.

Thank you Mr Holt.. You little legend. Drains a 3 ball with 16 seconds left.. WOW. The lines are getting sharper now that the books have stats on the season. Gotta pick our spots. Got lucky last weekend with the overs in the WNBL with a late 5 second 3 pointer and now this. I need to tread lighly...
Talk to you guys tomorrow. Liking the Wildcats again but that line is a little to high for my liking against a team that has beaten them. I actually think the unders might be the play in that because I expect a very physical game from both teams especially after Martin's terrible injury which broke his jaw and gave him concussion.

WNBL game tomorrow night mate, the Flames at home to the terrible Capitals. Capitals did play Renee Montgomery last week off the bench but she only had 1 day to fit into the rotation after she arrived from the States. Now she has had a full weeks' practice. No line yet but I think this game could be high scoring as the Flames offense is rolling right now. Will wait and see what the total is.

Just got there Freddie but will take it.

Lol, I seem to remember you saying you wouldn't play the Caps again after last week so a total play looks to be a good lean at this stage.

HAHA yeah definitely not touching the Caps until they prove something. Just like the addition of Montgomery to the line-up for their attack along with Abby Bishop and Talbot. Think they might be able to at least score on the Flames who don't play D. Not sure about Tupaea though. She might still be out.
