,,,I would point out that some of my brothers and sisters do believe that it is. If you don't know the world that some of my people live, then you never will. I sometimes scoff at the younger generation for the decisions they make, but I did not grow up in a single parent home which is on welfare, so I can't compare myself to a young man who thinks his 22's are the best thing since sliced bread. To each his own.....

I cannot relate to moden black shows so I figured I'd ask. (Love and can't take away anything from shows like Fresh Prince, Sanford and Son, and the Jeffersons BTW).

Why do you think that the majority of Blacks in this country vote Democrat? 

Do you think it will ever change?

#1.) Did u vote for obama?  

#2.) If so, was it just cause he was black?

#3.) Will you be voting for him again this next election?

,,,I think it has to do with the Dems social issues. My father is a registered Democrat and my mother and grandparents always voted straight Dems when they were alive.....I voted Clinton, Gore and Kerry for president, but my ticket was never a straight one.

I think we are in the midst of change when it comes to voting along party lines and I feel the change will occur within our lifetime.

            No..but I did feel pride when he was elected. Truth is, I  voted Hillary for the nomination.

        I am leaning Ron Paul should he receive the nomination.

Half-black.  McCain would have gotten twice as many votes had Obama been all-Black, and three times as many if he had been all-Black and married to a white woman.

After reading this thread the other day I had a craving for fried chicken so I opted for Popeye's over KFC. 

Jay, I can't believe you prefer Popeye's over KFC. 

It's terrible that black people have that stereotype b/c I think everyone loves fried chicken.
