No shit my jaw dropped when I saw we signed him, although I have a hunch unless he is spectacular early that he will be in AAA to start.  Anxious to see if Yonder Alonso is on the big league roster to start.

Allowing the Reds to sign Chapman is why the Cubs won't be a contender for years to come.... How do you let a talent like that go to a division rival without even making the guy an offer??????

I still think he needs to throw well in Spring Training to become a member of the rotation,

Harang, Arroyo, Cueto all locks...

4 and 5 are up for grabs and I think that we have a bunch of contenders which is something I can't ever remember from the Reds.

Bailey, Chapman, Lehr, Maloney, Owings, Massett maybe, Volquez obviously would be in the rotation but he will be out for awhile.  Hell if Daryl Thompson develops another pitch he could very well be in the rotation.  We need a SS.

Bailey found himself in the 2nd half last year,don't C how he doesn't fit in the rotation....Volquez is out??? How long??? He's the most gifted of them all....
