So the Phillies make a pitching change with 1 out and the bases loaded and Lindor hits a grand slam off the guy. Series over. The Mets are the team of destiny.
Was thinking about backing Saints and 1st time starter but now that they have named Rattler as the starter i'll pass. Now he may play well but no thanks.

It is a staple of the Newsletter to bet on the 1st game of the backup QB.
It has less to do with who that QB is, and more to do with the other 52 players on the roster

Was thinking the same thing.
Although, we have to assess the Saints o line situation. They haven't been the same since week 3 when they had to shuffle guys because of Erik McCoy's injury. The dude was plowing people at center. Lucas Patrick has been a stud at guard, but not so much at center. Same shit when he was with the Bears.

What's interesting is that the Saints still sit at #4 in dvoa. We know dvoa isn't perfect, but they see something good from an execution standpoint.
Is it bad luck and poor coaching? Probably both. I personally didn't like their sequencing of plays the last 2 games.
This game is tough as hell to cap. So many moving pieces.

Derek Carr's cpoe+epa composite ranking on the year is 4th best in the league.
If we remove weeks 1 and 2, he sits at 16th.
What would this line be if he was playing? Also we know nothing about Spencer Rattler making his first nfl start. At least it's not on the road.
One would also think that the hurricane threw a huge monkey wrench into the Bucs routine this week. Could be a lot of heavy things on player and coaches minds.
Saints +3.5 or nothing imo

Jets interim HC Jeff Ulbrich has stripped play calling duties from OC Nathaniel Hackett.
Have to wonder if he had the blessings of the diva QB on this move.
Hopefully bigred will provide some inside info, as he scouted both Rodgers and Hackett in elementary school

The 49ers have won five straight meetings (including playoffs) with Seattle, going 4-1 ATS.
The Seahawks are 17-6 ATS as home underdogs since 2011, including 4-2 ATS in Geno Smith starts.
For those of you who enjoy trends (I'm not one of them)

The Falcons haven't laid 6 points otr since 2017.
We saw how fugazzi their win was vs TB on TNF.
After 5 games they are 3-2, and have only played 1 road game.
This will be their 3rd consecutive divisional game.
Tell me we don't like the Panthers here.
Before red replies, Falcons on extended rest

Vikes win total was 7.5
And the The Great Un-Washington's are the biggest liability again for most books. It fucking ends this week 58.
My NFL lad guarantees it. I get a free fish and chips if EAPs don't cover.

So this story gets more interesting by the minute.
So Aaron Rodgers may not have been the culprit to get Saleh fired. Allegedly, Woody the owner has many colleagues internationally. And many of them were at the game. Woody got so embarrassed it led him to the firing.
Now it's been reported that Saleh himself was wanting Hacket fired. Hugh reported that the interim coach relieved Hacket from play calling duties.
With the whole viral video of Rodgers pushing away the Saleh attempted hug, but in an interview with Pat Mccafee said that he "loves" Robert Saleh...
Wtf, only the Jets I tell ya. This organization has and will be fucked for years to come.

This situation may be different. Did the players hate Saleh? I bet the defensive guys had no problem with him as they are doing their part.
Usually when a coach gets fired, the players go out and prove that they weren't the problem.
Who knows what is happening here
