In come the 1-5 Patriots, just as shitty. But what do they have to lose? This trip is new to them, but it might be a good thing for them. It's like a vacation where they might play loose.
Drake Maye got his first start out of the way, and gets to face the worst secondary in the nfl. Call me crazy, but 5.5 points is too many. And why couldn't they win?
Maye threw more TD's yesterday than the Pats had combined in their first 5 games.
Unless he gets injured, Maye will be the starting QB of NE for the foreseeable future

Hugh if those numbers are correct how embarrassed should the owners of the Browns be for paying this clown a guaranteed 230 million....
Browns HC Kevin Stefanski reiterated today that he is sticking with his quarterback. “I think Deshaun Watson gives us the best chance to win, continues to give us the best chance to win, and we need to play really good football at his position, and at every position to be successful,” Stefanski said.
Stefanski has won Coach Of The Year honors in 2020 and 2023.
The guy was an OC before becoming a HC. He knows football. He knows QB's. He knows talent.
Watson remaining the QB is 100% not his decision.
The idiots who gave all that draft capital, in addition to all that guaranteed money, are calling the shots

He should have known Joey Flacco gives them a better chance than Watson.

100% on the Haslems and their clunky management (Dorsey and Berry) making the call to keep playing the worst contract in the history of pro sports. Watson is completely shameless but also blameless. He played his cards, went all in, and won the jackpot.

As for MNF I really don't know how you don't take the Jets here. Still one of the best defenses in all of football and Rodgers is free to call his own plays. Bills playing 3rd straight road game and they're really not very good. Good but not very good. If the Jets choke on their own vomit, then let it be so. But I like this spot for them.
Jets +2/ML.

Only one team has allowed more points than the Jags and that would be the Carolina Pansies. And though they both have only won 1 game the Pats did it on the road.I thing Pats are actually in a better place headwise than Jags. I'm with ya Sarge.

Yes they undoubtedly are. No one can put a finger on why the Jags are so bad right now but solutions seem nearly impossible. It's just the Jags being their normal selves for last 25 years. Clueless.

It's just against my DNA to bet a road division fav of that many points. Especially this early in the year. I'll most likely pass, but keep an eye on things throughout the week.

I really think Pederson fowled it up in the pre season. Let the OC call plays then. But to start the season he took charge of play calling.
I don't know how many times he ran against the Bears on 1st down, but it felt like every time. They had 2 starters out in the secondary. Malpractice

Under the settlement, Defendants have agreed to pay the total amount of $50 million into two settlement funds to resolve these allegations. Of this total, $37,500,000 will be distributed to consumers as compensation for violations of the Cartwright Act, subject to deductions for payments of taxes, administration costs, and attorneys’ fees and costs. $12,500,000 is assessed as a penalty under California’s Unfair Competition Law and will be used by state and local government to enforce consumer protection laws.
With as many that will provide a claim it will prolly not be much but I'd say a tad under $40 each person

I have used 3 of the 4 in my survivor picks. Lions left to use.
