CJ Stroud has been trending up week by week and today he goes ballistic against a quality defense. Of course when Todd Bowles is your head coach the word "quality" no longer has meaning. Nevertheless what a freaking performance by the "3rd best" QB in the draft. 3 different receivers with over 100 yards. That just doesn't happen.
Tampa players were mugging to the max on screen a minute latter looked like homeless puppies. The way CJ led them down the field was a thing of beauty.

The circles under Mike Tomlin’s eyes always make me hesitant when I think about counting him out . I don’t know if I’m right or not but it always makes me think that he’s up all hours of the night scheming and strategizing plays in his office , and sleeping there under his desk like George Costanza . But actually doing work though . He has those eyes because of either that or he likes to hit the strip club till real late and because cocaine is a helluva drug . Can’t wait to see what he does with Pickens . He’s been through this already with Antonio Brown . Just this time he’s dealing with a guy with a quarter of the talent .
BACK PATTING and KISSING threads are like passing HAM SANDWICHES around over and over-wall

They may flatten out but as Spock alluded i kinda doubt that they just crash & burn. As for who is better Burrow or Lamar i cant say, but i'll take Lamar as my starter.

You have to admit 18 - 1 vs NFC is impressive. The loss was last year when defense gave up 2 td's in the 4th, it happens.

Steelers = 22nd team since 2000 to have negative point differential in each of their first 8 games...and the 1st to have a winning record at that time.

I wouldn't have expected Jax to be favored vs. SF. Line seems right. It's a winnable game for both teams and I think you'll see a top effort from both sides. One of those games where I'd rely more on advanced metrics and stats to determine the right side as opposed to any intangible reasons.

I won't have $ on any of them. 8-1 last 2 weeks. Money won = zero fucking dollars.
SERIOUS question, did you put as much research time & energy etc etc on those plays as you usually do.

That's all we need to know, Thanks. Surely there will be a couple good fade spots of the Steelers coming up. Ala the 2022 Vikings

@undermysac He got paid......if he stays healthy and his supporting cast...GFL... Mitchell rookie from ECU RB is a gifted little guy.... RT was out Sunday....Mekari didnt miss a beat replacing him... Honestly the 2 losses they had were games they never should have lost...
So technically it could have been a 17-0 season. And I assume they romp the playoffs, and win a SB?

I'm leaning fading them against the Pack BUT the O 37' has caught my eyes.

CJ Stroud was unbelievable. Honorable mention to Josh Dobbs. How did he do that?
It just kills me that I had quite a few times thought about picking him up in the fantasy waiver wire, but passed. And now he's scoring 50 points on some other manager's bench.
