I tip my cap to the Bengals and their backers.
Tigger Dak played great last week.....Horrible on Sunday
Once Pollard went down play action was a joke...
The end of the first half passing on 2nd and 2 was a terrible play call...
Run the clock...a 6 point swing cost them the game..
Parsons n Lawrence are excellent players....
Diggs local kid is softer than Charmin....
Now u play in August next just like us....

My 1st inclination is to wait for Frisco + 3 and Chiefs. I dont think Cincy is going to have as much success on the ground as they did in Buffalo.

The Bills had a bunch of accumulated events all year to make their road an uphill drive.
Micah Hyde hurt week 3.
His replacement Damar Hamlin almost died week 17.
That same game was canceled.
The snow game, had to play in Detroit b2b weeks, lost a home game.
That incredible wtf loss to the Vikings, maybe the most entertaining game of the year. Unless you bet the Bills(I did).
They played in 10 one score games.
Yet they recorded the #2 offense per dvoa, #1 defense, and #1 special teams. This team was primed for a SB, but ran into speed bumps along the way, and then ran into the Bengals.
Zac Taylor just earned some major coaching points in my book. It's time to start respecting this guy. Also, their defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo might be the best at his job in all the league.
If Mahomes' movement is compromised from that ankle injury, the Chiefs will be up against it. I think the Bengals are going to b2b super bowls.

so we all know what dak's capabilities are, but how about the bigger elephant in the room. is josh allen a playoff choker? he has looked awful the entire postseason. with how much they have spent on the bills, the talent that surrounds them, and only being able to get to the conference game once with allen, have we seen the peak of what allen can do? guy just doesn't show up in big games and he does very uncharacteristic things that he never really did in the regular season. with hindsight, they had a pretty easy friggin' schedule, too. so is it possible that he may not be as good as everyone thinks? gotta start asking questions at this rate

Listening to Steve Fezik this morning on a podcast. He said that he downgraded Dallas only a 1/2 pt, and didn't upgrade SF at all after yesterday's game.
That is interesting, and I agree.
I'm not gonna take anything away from SF, cause they did what it took to win, but it looked like more of Dallas shooting themselves in the foot that gave us that result. Along with bad injury luck.
When is the levee going to break on Brock Purdy? If anyone can find the stat on how many interceptable balls he's thrown, that weren't caught, I'd appreciate it.
But I've said this before about him, give him his due. If he wins another game, and now otr in Philly(surely the toughest team they've seen all year), then this dude could be the next Tom Brady. I'm not joking. I still remember when Bledsoe got hurt, and everyone was like "who the fuck is Tom Brady?"

Well my bets have been terrible but went 3-1 ATS with gut leans....kinda making me like my gut this weekend
Initial gut
Cinci +1.0
Eagles-2.0
Dunno if ill bet on eagles game as I rarely ever bet on my teams games as there is potential for bias
Kinda liked cinci with mahomes 100% when looking at potential matchups last week...now with mahomes less than 100% that strengthens that thought....
Sounds like almost everyone already on cinci....kinda scary...seems too obvious....
Andy great off a bye....no bye here.....burrow showed weather doesn't matter
Only worry would be 15-20+ mph winds....then it turns into a running game/protecting the ball game which would be harder to cap

Peter King echoed my own thoughts this morning when he said "For the first time in 4 years I feel the sands of the hourglass are running out on Buffalo and their Super Bowl aspirations."

The Super Bowl has been going on for over 50 years and there are still 12 teams who have never won it. I'd love to see Cincinnati cut that number to 11. Fun team, cool uniforms, great family ownership, underrated fan base.

I always like to think down the road on any team. For instance, the Niners have followed the Rams formula of "win now". The Rams fell off a cliff this year after years of giving away draft picks. The Niners sold the barn for Trey Lance and Christian McCaffrey.
Not saying next year, but maybe 2 years from now they will find themselves void of depth and talent. It's inevitable. Especially if Brock Purdy doesn't end up being the superman that he is right now.

To be fair about Josh Allen, he really didn't have the worst game yesterday vs the Bengals. I know 10 pts on the scoreboard looks bad, but Cincy played keep away very well.
They had 9 drives to Bills 8.
30 first downs to 18.
T.o.p. 33:54 to 26:06
And the Bills shot themselves with 8 penalties.
The one interception by Josh came with 1:02 left, and the Bills were all ready toast.
The Bills defense was absolutely bullied by the Bengals.

Purdy was roughly the 10 th best QB out of college last year...
The Eagles front is deep....Running on them will be a challenge..
Eagles toyed with the Giants on Saturday......
Their D line has quality depth....

What do you guys make of this?
Kittle is the first of 2 TE's on the end of the line. The outside TE is off the line of scrimmage. There is a guard and tackle to Kittle's right.
I think he's eligible.

Any player with a jersey number of 1-49 or 80-89 (Kittle is #85) is an eligible receiver as long as there are at least 7 players on the line of scrimmage and all ineligible receivers are inside of the eligible receivers.
You are correct and TikTok jackass is wrong.

2 of the best blitzing d coordinators in the league. Both qb's know exactly what to do vs the blitz.

@BWS77
I was thinking both teams get to 20...barring weather being worse than in Buffalo last week
Bengals won 10 in a row
Chiefs won 6 in a row
Interesting enough chiefs last loss was...you guessed it....27-24 to cinci
Chiefs 8-1 @home SU
Bengals 7-3 on road SU
Sac aren't Bengals crazy on the road ATS??

9ers 5-3 on road SU
Eagles 8-2 @ home SU
Eagles won 2 straight...both vs giants...lost to saints and cowboys without Hurts and Lane Johnson ...
49ers haven't lost in decades...well ok since Halloween...12 straight...Purdy undefeated...

Chiefs 1-7-1 ATS @home...somewhat misleading though
Bengals 8-2 ATS on road
Chiefs last 6 ATS @home all -9.0 or higher which leaves backdoor wide open most games...
Hence the chiefs great SU record at home but shitty ATS record...
their 1 loss at home was vs a good bills team 24-20...who cincy just beat handily...
Very interesting matchup...as a fan I wish mahomes was 100%

In regards to Buffalo Bills and Josh Allen, along about just after the midseason mark Josh Allen lost his "fastball" and if he wasn't a Front-line Pitcher at say the NY Yankees,he would have shutdown and had Tommy John and sat out a year to rehab.Since that isn't done in the NFL ,Allen became in essense Lamar Jackson (a running back that can't throw deep) and since Bills didn't have much running game he would toss short and would often be the leading rusher also. Since Elbows don't really heal themselves we may see a First and have an Elite QB take off a year for rehab or watch an Elite QB quietly sink below the waves.
