Just watching this fantastic game makes me think...how important Saquon was for the gmen. And, what would the Eagles be without out him? And how the fuck do you let a guy like that go to a divisional opponent. Coaching/gm crimes
I can understand trading him in hopes of making your team better but to a div. rival where he can help them beat you once or twice a year is malpractice.

I agree with the sentiment of your post, but Barkley signed as a FA. I wonder if that Giants figured there would be strong interest by the Eagles when they decided to pull their contract offers for him. I know John Mara (Giants owner) was really disappointed when the Giants GM said it was a soft RB market and to let Barkley test free agency.
Mara was right.
