Obviously Sean McDermott has a heart and understands a lot of these guys left their loved ones in a bad situation on Saturday... which segways into Peter King's column today talking about Jimmy Johnson's new book. Johnson had two sons who played football and doesn't think he ever was at any of their games. His oldest son Chad became an alcoholic/drug abuser but thankfully has committed himself to helping others. Andy Reid has the same mentality and his son has paid for it as well. Not judging anyone here, but just a perfect example of men who become so focused on their profession that everything else becomes secondary if that. As a poor but loving father of 2 boys I'm happy with myself as a father. 

A wise man once said you'll never be on your deathbed remembering the hours you put in at work.

My Buffalo guy said they wanted to be at their practice and workout facilities.    We obviously know the Lions facilities don't work

Good points, and life lesson. Admirable really. I'm serious. 

But in our heart of hearts at the CD newsletter, we are looking for angles on winning wagers.

The Bills will be unprepared on Thursday morning imo. Lots of travel and digging themselves out of snow ect..

They were pretty lifeless in the first half vs the Browns. I think if Ethan Pocic of the Browns doesn't get hurt on the 2nd drive, that game would of played out differently. Chubb had 19 yards on 14 carries. Then Brissett fumbled a snap, which is correlated with having a guard at center. 

Detroit's o line is a force to be reckoned with. 

Just something to think about.

Here! Here! I'll play it out on my Coleco electric football game. I just hope the guys don't run in circles after bumping into each other. Still learning to get the hang of throwing the miniature nerf football. I'll let you know the results after simulating it 3 times (that will be all night).

I had the one with Giants and Broncos after that Super Bowl.  No idea how they expected you to have the QB 'throw' that stupid little ball.  Putting the jersey number stickers on those took so much time, then they'd just peel off after you handle the guys when they are all going in circles

 The vibrating hum of the metal table when you turned it on was like the last 5 minutes of the pre game show. The bar was set too high and the game would ultimately disappoint.

 Andy Reid was also in King's column today. Peter remembers Andy showing him a few plays designed for Kelce while adding "You simply can't cover that play." In fact the winning TD reception last night was the exact same play they used to beat San Diego in OT last year. "Simply can't cover that play" Amazing ! 

I believe Reid has always been way ahead of his time in designing an offense. The wiz kid in Miami (the other McDaniel)is probably the next generation of ingenuity.

Not bad, Browns fans still think Colt McCoy was the QB that didn't get a fair shake and was the missing piece to a championship run.  And Kelly Holcomb.  And Jeff Garcia.  Manziel.  Baker.  etc...   

Wish I would have looked into this weather ahead of time.  Had no idea about the wet conditions until I saw the pregame reporter on sideline.
