Geno Smith has a bad groin injury. He's listed as questionable. There has been a ton of line movement between the 10 and 13 back n forth in this one.

We should try and guess the next injured qb going forward. This week I'll guess Jared Goff. As he turns into a prune in cold weather, has a backup center, and Montez Sweat has settled in nicely.

My guess B will be Jordan Love in an upset shocker from the Giants. 5 weeks from now the Bears find themselves the champions of the nfc north and all is right in the world.

This season, when 2 teams are both coming off a bye to play each other, the under is 4-0, winning by an average of 8.25 points.

 

Get on that under between the Vikings and Raiders. And if you don't like trends, just know that Josh Dobbs and Aidan O'Connell are the starting quarterbacks.

I don't care that this is in a dome on a fast track, it must be why the total is so high. It should be 38 I initially thought.

Army-Navy is about to go under the total of 28 (again) but I still love watching this game. Maybe I'm a Patriot at heart. 

And Sac, you said Minnesota had 19 players heading for the portal but Florida has 20 and they still are good enough to win their bowl game...

Wait...just being told the Gators won't be bowl eligible for the 2nd year in a row. Sorry.

Jets +3.5 and ML. I've been looking to fade the upstart Texicans and struck out last week when they beat Denver in a game they should have lost if they didn't have a +3 turnover margin. Despite the high powered Houston offense, we get a total of only 33 here and a defense that should cause fits for young Mr. Stroud especially with no Tank Dell to throw to. Nick Collins caught two thirds of his passes last week for almost 200 yards. This is a new week and that was an outlier. 

The Jets are in a prime spot to win an ugly game against an overachieving opponent who won't have the fortitude to compete in ugly conditions for 4 quarters.

Jax +3/ML

NYJ +3.5/ML

Cinci -2 

TB +1/ML (The Bucs are only a 3 point dog at GB next week while the Falcons are favored by less than a FG at Carolina. Am I reading the tea leaves too strongly? No I'm not) Wake up and brew the tea. Preferably with honey and lemon.

Carolina +6/ML Give me 10 reasons why a bad team that can't tank won't win a divisional home game against another team which is sitting at a precarious .500 record after 12 games? (You can't, so don't)

If these 5 plays don't go 5-0, then they won't. But they might.

Every week I'm yelling about how the Falcons spreads never exceed -2.5 or +2.5, no matter the opponent. It's driving me nuts.

They're 4-8 ats, and I suppose that the public is on the Falcons side more often than their opponents.

In that case, the books know what they're doing.

I'm playing Jax only because I think their defense which was embarrassed last week steps up and does what they've done all year...create turnovers. If they don't, then it'll be hard for them to score much. The injury report for both teams is right out of a Shrimp nightmare. 28 listings between the two.
