Branden Staley has already said that he's going to wait for the outcome of the Ravens-Bengals game. If the Ravens lose, he's going to rest most of his starters as they would have the 5th seed regardless. If the Ravens win, the Chargers need to win their afternoon game to grab the 5th seed, so they'll play their starters. Right now the line is reflective of the Chargers resting their starters (they're now at +3).

The Chargers backup QBs are fair-to-middling (Easton Stick) to atrocious (Chase Daniel).

i'm curious to see how many times he practices going for it on forth down in his own territory. 2 failed attempts sounds like a good number
