Agree with Red, this qb is not good

49ers -7.5 @ Rams 43 The Rams injury bug has struck hard and early. Both Puka and now looks like Kupp are out. The Rams are 26th in scoring, and 31st in scoring defense. Real bad start for Sean McVay. The Niners have their injury woes as well, with CMC and Deebo out. I feel like that hook is asking for Rams $, and it does look like a decent home dog line. But the HFA isn't shit in LA especially when playing SF. I don't want either side
.
Not only are Puka and Kupp out, but the Rams are missing 4 O-lineman.
Line sits at 7 right now
I won’t bet this game, but if I did it would have to be the injured 9ers over the injured Rams

Eagles @ Saints No line as the Eagles are playing currently on MNF. I saw a look ahead of Eagles -2, I took the Saints ML at +110 earlier today. I did not notice the total. I'm a believer in the Saints offense with the new coordinator. You don't just trample the Cowboys at Arlington like that on accident. After week 1 when they did it to the Panthers and ofcourse it was normal to react to it the way we did. They are using motion a bunch, play action, and being very creative. Also their o line is blocking in an attacking manor. All the scoring has somewhat overshadowed their defense. It's fucking good. The Eagles imo have been over rated by a bunch of people all off season. Saquon has looked spry so far early in the season. But we know how we feel about RB's here. New Orleans is a tough place to play. When a line is posted again after this game I'd be shocked if they hang Phillly -2 again.
Saints -2.5..that line stinks after the Iggles shit show last night
Oddsmakers putting emphasis on Iggles bounce back and a saints let down because right now the Saints look like the most complete team in the league...But, Carr is still Carr and playing out his beaded ass right now...I could see a Saints let down and I could see a bounce back from the birds, but I can also see it going the other way...keep an eye on this one all week.
And outstanding work sac

Chargers @ Steelers -1(-116) 35 Icon pointed out that Harbaugh is keeping the boys out east all week for practice. So as much as Hugh has warned us about the whole west coast team playing out east thing, you really have to throw it out completely here. Both teams are 2-0. One team's point differential is +35, and the other's is +15. The Chargers have allowed the fewest points, and the Steelers have allowed the second fewest. Both teams have faced shitty opponents in weeks 1 and 2. Both coaches are the best around, in a league full of dipshit coaches. The Steelers staff should be familiar with Greg Roman's offense as they faced the Ravens for all those years. This is the Steelers first home game, Heinz should be rocking. As much as I will be rooting for Fields, I don't think I want to back him, nor fade him. This is another must watch game for me.
This line is a joke....The Chargers are not winning back to back games traveling this far East 2 weeks in a row....and the Steelers defense is still legit and the Chargers will struggle to score at Ketchup field (screw that Acrisure BS-condiment all the way)...take the Steelers here by at least 6+

Ravens -1 @ Cowboys 48.5 The Ravens are in a tough spot. 0-2 and trying to avoid 0-3 in Arlington. Against a Cowboy team that just got embarrassed. I'm sorry Red, but this is as bad as it gets. And with the shuffled new o line that's not gelling, and an old over priced RB, it's a lot to shoulder for Lamar. It's also a game where you'd want Patrick Queen back. I can only lean to the Cowboys here. When I dig to find the "Mccarthy after a loss" trend, it will finalize my bet. I'll let all you guys discuss this game ad nauseum.
Cowboys a dog at home...this a bait and tackle shop line
That tells you everything...the line will shift to the Cowboys because of the public blind eye betting on Cowboys but the movement will be incorrect...the Oddsmakers have this right I think...the Ravens win and the Cowboys lose at home

Nicua being out for the Rams is just bad for them...If Kupp is out they have nothing...certainly no threats....Niners D is good so they should prevail here on just that side of the ball alone...don't expect much offensively in this game and both teams want to get out with no more injuries to let their stars heal up...lotsa runs and tick, tick, tick....like the under here...

Commanders @ Bengals -8 (48.5) Strong line for the Bengals, but it seems warranted. It looked like they had they Chiefs beat at Arrowhead until they got Mahomesed. As much as I like Jayden Daniels, he's still just a rookie and needs to find a way to get his team in the end zone. This feels like a game that it will be hard to stay awake for. Not sure if any betting interests me unless something resonates later in the week. I think that's all of em. Good luck everyone
really like the Bengals here....they played really well against the Chiefs and are disappointed about the loss...they had that game and put pressure on KC all day on the scoreboard...WFT, what can I say, oh wait, they suck....8 is a big number, but when WFT goes down early by 2 scores and is only kicking field goals while the Bengals are scoring touchdowns this one gets out of hand at the end...Bengals big time here by 20+

Yeah, I'm going to have to say it's all about depth here. Jordan Mason has stepped in admirably for CMC while he's out. Won't give Purdy the pass catching ability that CMC gave him but it's not like Shanahan isn't an offensive wiz or anything. He'll work around that.
I think the injuries on offense, and most notably that offensive line, may be too much to overcome for the Rams. Rams and Chargers have put more of their fans in their seats the past couple of years, but it's a given that the 49ers and Raiders will always take over. (By the way, I was at the Raider-Charger game at SoFi and a much better turnout with Charger fans then in years prior for these games.)
Did you guys read that the 49ers reached out to the Vikings in the offseason to inquire about Justin Jefferson?

You're bringing up that the Steelers defense is legit and that the Chargers will struggle to score. But who have the Steelers beat? They beat a Broncos team with one of the worst QB situations in the NFL right now and the Falcons. Cousins needed that game to barely find his footing against a weak passing defense in the Eagles. I know you're high on the Raiders. I would consider them a quality enough opponent. Divisional games are never easy, and the Chargers turned a gear by mid 3d quarter to take control of that game.
Sure, the Chargers beat up on a weak Panthers team in week 2, But for all the praise the Saints got in demolishing the Panthers week 1 at home, the Chargers held the Panthers to to less points while on the road.
This is going to be a battle between two defenses, and I love it. I don't expect the Chargers to be able to run like they did the past two weeks, so maybe they lean on the pass a bit more. The true test will be how TJ Watt affects that. The 2 highest graded tackles of Week 2 happen to be Joe Alt (87.2) and Rashawn Slater (82.7). Alt shut down Crosby week 1, but Watt is on another level. I don't expect him to completely neutralize Watt, but I don't think Watt will alter the game a whole lot. Should he be a problem on the right side of the O-line, Joe Hortiz (Chargers GM) signed Dissly and Hurst (both above average blocking tackles) in the off-season for situations such as these.
I'd rather the Steelers start Wilson, but it looks like it's Fields' job to lose now. In years prior, the Chargers have had trouble containing mobile QBs and keeping them in the pocket, but the linebackers Jesse Minter has coached up seem to be doing well with containing the edges. If Fields does any damage with his feet, it'll be between the 20s. The Chargers have the best red zone defense in the league through 2 weeks. Still early, but at least it's an insight towards how well the defense has been playing.
As mentioned in a reply to Biscuiteater, this will most likely be a 3 point win by either team. Both kickers are pretty good too so you may see longer field goals being attempted.

Well, if I was always right, I'd be rich doing this by now. Haha
It's a low total. I think the Chargers edge rushers, which collectively may be the best in the league right now, won't make things easy for Fields. When Mack and Bosa aren't on the field, you have Tui Tuipulotu and Bud Dupree rotating in, ensuring no extreme drop off. The defense will have a constant motor. This is a deeper team than Telesco (old Chargers GM) has compiled in all his years.

oK, so I guess the Steelers D is still not legit..we all only have two games to base this off of, but in reality hasn't the Steelers D been legit for years? It's the only reason why they win most games because their offense sure isn't the greatest show

The Gus Bus has had some trouble rolling, but I think he's been used to wear down the defensive line with his touches, paving way for JK to do his thing. The ultimate assist.
I have trouble remember who roots for which team, so I'm remember now that you're a Ravens fan. That 0-2 start is a bit troubling, but they've been in both games they lost. Do you think Mike Macdonald leaving has hampered the defense a lot? I know they lost Queen, Clowney, and Geno Stone in free agency.
My favorite quote Gus Edwards quote this season has been this:
"I know what he's been through, so I want to see him eat. He's one of the best in the league and he's showing it right now." - Gus Edwards on J.K. Dobbins
By the way, did you know that Dobbins grew up as a Chargers fan?

No, I do think the Steelers defense is legit. But that's why I'm saying it's going to be a low scoring game. (I think my comment about the Broncos offense sucking and keeping them to 6 points threw my argument off course. lol) Both defenses will ensure that both teams' offenses will remain sputtering. I'm just bringing to light the Chargers defense; hence the low scoring affair.
But I can't predict any special teams or defensive scoring (i.e. pick sixes and fumble sixes, KR or PR touchdowns).

Saying the 'Browns bounced back strong' is kinda off. They didn't get manhandled, but still tried everything in their power to give the game to the Jags.

Well, I guess I used that phrase relative to how bad they got smashed by the Cowboys in week 1.

Don't worry about Gus, if he has an opening most the time he will take advantage of it, but yes IC you can't lose the defensive production we lost along with their coordinator and a couple of his assistants and not have a drop off. The line has been ok its the back end that so far has been horrible. Hopefully we get Nate Wiggins back for this game and though he's a rook he has the makings of an excellent corner.
