Micah Parsons speed has been well documented, what is not so well known is the speed of rookie LBer Damone Clark.
He got his first in-game action yesterday. It was his first game because he had surgery last spring. The 5th rounder played 40 snaps in place of the slow-footed veteran Lber Barr, who was injured during the game.
Parsons highest EVER in-game speed is 20.41 mph. Yesterday Clark hit 22.19 mph while chasing Justin Fields.
Clark was still available in the 5th round because he had spinal fusion surgery one month before the draft, and was expected to miss the entire season.
Clark is not just a super fast player, he is a football player with good instincts.
The Cowboys other 5th round draft pick from this years draft, DaRon Bland, played the 3rd most snaps of any defender on the team yesterday, having been forced into a starting roll by a season ending injury to Lewis. Bland is a play-maker, and another really fast player.
Also making weekly contributions is special teams ace KaVontae Turpin, who is the only player in the NFL to be top 5 in both kick and punt returns. Turpin is an undrafted rookie.
Additionally, Cowboys have 3 other rookies already making immense contributions. Tyler Smith is their starting LT. DE Sam Williams is a stud, and TE Jake Ferguson can do it all. This is not hyperbole, this is a universally held view by people who know.
The only thing that can prevent the Cowboys 2022 draft class as being one of the best ever would be injuries.
Of note, the 2021 draft class was also stellar, with 10 of the 11 players drafted still on the team, including Micah Parsons.

It's amazing how some teams/gm's can identify talent and pick accordingly. While other teams just whiff year after year. And most of these teams do the same every time and expect different results.
In 2022 it feels like the Bears are in more of a "dumping" players mode than "acquiring". The gm cleared cap space, and did an amazing job. We'll see how he drafts in the next couple years.

A foundational piece doesn't ask for a trade at the start of the season. Doesn't matter how good he may be, if he doesn't want to be there then your held captive until you trade him.
The Ravens D has cost them games and ranks 20th in the league in points allowed per game, 32nd in rushing yards allowed per carry (5.7), 31st in 20+ yard gains allowed per rush (11), etc. It's why they gave up pickS + salary absorption.
