In any case, come on? The game became flage football at the end. Like most do now. All the sudden pro defense doesn't exist.

Prevent defence has been around since forever...never a surprise to see heavy scoring late on in games...

It prevents the defense from being able to stop anything. It's been a lame excuse since the 70s.

 No it doesnt prevent shit which is why it tends to leads to high scoring 4th quarters, not sure how long its been around or when its lame ass ways became acceptable that it was okay to let teams score on you when you were holding a big lead leading to those moosing which are just oh so common.

Maybe its part of the NFL fix script to keep it exciting for the fans.
