just got home.  a couple of questions:  why can't the chiefs catch the ball? why is reid punting on 4th and fine in houston territory down 14 with the best offense in the league?  chiefs look like the shrimp out there today.

and in 4 plays, houston is right where they would have been had KC gone for it and not made it.  good job, andy.  

this game is nuts.  sorenson, who kind of sucks, is basically responsible for the last 14 points for KC and got them back into the game. 

the best bet in this game was obviously the first half over. did anyone have that?  

the coaching will probably be huge from here on out.  reid made an unforgivably bad decision punting in houston territory, but i think o'brien's standard incompetence will prevail.

Reid really has no spine for the mad genius that he is... so conservative when you have the leagues best triple threat by a margin in Mahomey, Hill and Kelce... Chiefs winning this game though

notes to self... chiefs have an ability no other team can match, to come back from any deficit... regardless of how illogical it looks. i have live bet them down +points all season starting with at the raiders... its a $$ maker

The defining point of the game so far is Houston going for the fake punt in their own territory with a 24-7 lead. I'm all about aggressive play calling, but that was not the time or the place. Granted Sorenson made a hell of a play to snuff it out. 

But this is exactly the game I was waiting for in the playoffs :

A hurricane of awesomeness aided by a tornado of incompetence. 

this has been a fun playoffs thus far... 

chiefs/titans, niners/pack, niners/??? - this will be a fun ride all the way in...

Right now I'm ready to bet those same Titans who turned the Shrimp into Scampi yesterday. Probably no need to rush. If the Chiefs win now, the Titans line should only get better as the week goes on. 

You know better than anybody that the Ravens had a great season. All it takes is one bad game and it's over. 

so KC was -10 over houston.  i've liked tenn more than houston all year, but i'm not sure others agree with me.  but given that, i'd say KC should be about 8

"Only" 7 right now at Betonline. Like I say, no need to rush. We'll get at least 7.5 probably more. 

What's funny is the Texans just scored with the whole 4Q yet to play and the book doesn't even have a line on a possible Hou/Tenn matchup.

SF is -7 over Seattle or -6 over GB. 

houston's pass defense sucks, but it's a lot to ask Tenn to figure out how to stop the shrimp offense in one week and then figure out a completely different and better kc offense the next week.  maybe one more KC team total?

then again, KC has a bad run defense (and jones may be out) and tenn may be able to limit KC's possessions with henry.  houston has nothing like that. 

Excellent point. Last year after scheming and stopping the Shrimp in the wild card round, the Chargers were getting blown out 35-7 at the half in the next game against the Patriots.
