Colts first drive looked like Clemson against The Citadel. Jags defense is every bit as bad as expected.

The Falcons might have the best passing offense in the NFL and the worst passing defense. Until they make their totals in the upper 50's, you have no choice but to bet the over if you like money.

this detroit game is amazing. they somehow gave up their lead and stafford just threw a perfect ball to the detroit receiver open in the end zone and he dropped it.

here's the detroit loss, if you haven't seen it. i was so close to taking detroit today. that plus carolina losing by one and missing an extra point would have been a nice way to start the season. reallyhappy

You were right, as usual. When I saw you on Seattle, I ripped up my Falcons ticket. Then I saw CD on Atlanta, and started taping it back together. Unfortunately the 2019 Falcons defense came back for another year.

I'm most certainly out for the rest of the year(betting wise), but will chit chat if it's not against the subscription rules. My heart can't handle it. I'm still relatively in tune with baseball, and need to maintain in that department.

The Vikings are at Indianapolis next week, one of them will start the season 0-2, nuts.

I assume that Getty is in a alcohol induced coma somewhere celebrating the Jaguars only win this year.

The Colts may never find a replacement for Andrew Luck.

@BigRed, please remind us how good the Ravens are. I'm not sold yet, there may be too many flaws.

Hugh, tell us something about the Cowboys that we don't know.

I have no idea what happened to our defense. Usually, we put pressure on Rodgers. That was terrible. No sacks.

 

Playing Indy next week should be exactly what we need. If there is a quarterback that’s always good for two picks per game, including at least one unforced, it is Rivers.

 

what team impressed everyone the most? And what team impressed everyone the least?

 

I hate to say it, and I think playing against them next week would be smart, but the Packers put egg in my face. That offense looked pretty good.

 

The Bucs will be bad. I tried to find a bet somewhere of Patriots more wins than the Bucs, but could not find one.

Green Bay popped out as a team which played way over my expectations this week, although the Vikings are always overrated and losing their cornerbacks to free agency made things easier for the Pack. Hats off to LaFleur for clearly making a mockery of the oft outcoached Zimmer.

The biggest disappointment had to be the Browns. I expected them to be better and not get embarrassed by a divisional rival. Strangely enough the new head coach came from the Vikings. Hmm... advantage Shrimps.

Don't be afraid of the Buccaneers. They may have played the best team they'll see all year and they will be better sooner than later.

Also let's give the Colts a pass. They had numerous opportunities to put that game away in the 1st half but couldn't finish the deal. They're a solid football team stem to stern and just think the week 1 curse was cast upon them by the Cashew and Company.

KC is leaps and bounds ahead of any other team right now. 

San Fran has been decimated by injuries (especially at the WR) and might be a victim of the well known Super Bowl loser's curse. They lost more than Arizona won that game.

Anyways, not to force anything but Denver +3 is a good bet. Broncos shut this team out last year and it was the game where Tannehill took over for Mariota for the duration of the season. The Broncos will miss Von Miller in some games this year but this is not one of them. Henry has always been a slow starter and Tennessee's pass defense is weak, giving Lock a chance to make some plays.
