Scripted questions where either has them ahead of time negates the whole reason for the debate in my opinion...the whole idea is to ask questions in which require quick processing and a substantial and meaningful response....this is what would speak volumes that our President our potential President has the ability to process, respond and act quickly in a nationally televised debate...

What you are suggesting only works when both are interested in a real issues based debate. Biden debates, he has for decades and I think he is very open to a debate. Trump on the other hand does not debate, he is a controller of narrative who will devolve everything to shape his warped perspective. Trump lacks the broad scope perspective and intelligence to have a political debate, if he is asked a question where depth and knowledge are required there is no way he can discuss. Trump generalizes anything with depth and spins most everything into some boring yawner trainwreck tangent or gets offensive and attacks.
Trump is not interested in political topics he is not interested in gaining a knowledge base or learning about foreign affairs, details and fine points of a topic because he does not seek to be the leader and example to the population.
