And do we even know if Prime can coach? I have them at 3.5 wins. Draft Kings has them at 3, so that would be the only possible value play that I can see for this team. But I haven't puled the trigger. They do get CSU and Stanford at home, so they need just one more to get the push (ASU or AZ). But they'll need to upset someone to get to 4. As for their betting value, it could depend on what the Buffs do in their early game against an overrated (imo) TCU.

Good stuff Spottie. I always respected your database formulas. My gut feeling is TCU probably wins easily over the Buffs in their first game. TCU will be overrated as a betting prospect ATS. But they'll still have a much more cohesive roster than CU early in the season. It will "most likely" take some time for CU's talent to come together. Plus how does Colorado get a full 85 man roster this year after losing so many players? It's all guess work at this point, and I've been proven wrong more than once for assuming too much. There's almost always one or two teams that proves me wrong every year.. With the Buffs, I'm thinking they start slow, but from an ATS view, could become a great play on team once Prime's roster is set and they get a few games under their belts. As for the Frogs, I'm hoping everybody jumps on their bandwagon before they go into Big 12 play. I've got a very good formula of my own when it comes to first year coaches (Sonny Dykes) who win 9 or more games ATS in their first season and lose their star QB. Let's just say their ATS records in their second season have been pretty ugly. It's a strong trend, even with great coaches.

Hey Bridge. I've been in and out of Covers in the offseason, but your always my first read. I don't want to heist Wolf's thread with these other teams, so I'll start a thread on my projected season win totals for each conference. The Big 12 is going to be interesting this season. With four new teams coming in, it's basically going to be like each team playing 6 non conference games. It makes for an intersting dynamic...for one sason anyway.
