Afghanistan 1998, 2001- Bosnia 1994, 1995 Cambodia 1969-70 China 1945-46 Congo 1964 Cuba 1959-1961 El Salvador 1980s Korea 1950-53 Guatemala 1954, 1960, 1967-69 Indonesia 1958
Note that these countries represent roughly one-third of the people on earth.
This list makes it seem clear that the United States has been as bellicose as any other country in the history of the world. At least, it seems clear to non-Americans. Less clear are the reasons behind the bellicosity, the reasons that so few Americans realize how bellicose they are, and the reasons that so many Americans believe their country to be peaceable and benign.
Will you people please stop with the Ukraine pandering. Honestly, it’s embarrassing.

Now he’s crying about another world power invading another country?
The world is laughing at Biden, of all people, crying about this invasion.
Please stop. Stop arming neo-Nazi battalions. Stop sending tax dollars to Ukraine. We have plenty of causes that could use tax dollars in our own country.

Vice President from 2009-2017

Biden played a key role in expanding NATO in Eastern Europe during the late 1990s.
When the Soviet Union collapsed, some Warsaw Pact countries it had dominated cast their lot with NATO — moves that Russian leaders saw as weakening their influence and ability to defend against European invasions like those mounted by Napoleon and Hitler.
Viktor Yanukovych was the pro-Russian former President of Ukraine — ousted by the US in 2014 in a color revolution. The US then installed a puppet government in Ukraine. Yanukovych now lives in exile in Russia.
Putin blames NATO's eastward expansion for the contentious dynamic between Moscow and the West.
During the 90s, the US and its allies designed a Euro-Atlantic security architecture in which Russia had no clear commitment or stake, and since Putin came to power, Russia has been challenging that system.
Putin says NATO "swindled" Russia, claiming Moscow was "given promises not to move NATO infrastructure to the East, not a single inch." The Russian president has repeatedly accused NATO of breaking this pledge.
The US in 1990 verbally promised to halt NATO expansion to the East during discussions with the Soviet Union on German reunification.
As chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in March 2008 Biden expressed pride "that, here in the Senate, I helped lead the effort to enlarge NATO," adding that it remained his "conviction that we should extend an offer of NATO membership to any country that applies and meets the criteria."
As vice president in 2009, Biden said that the US supported Ukraine's move to join NATO — regardless of objections from Russia.

95% of Americans have no understanding of this conflict yet say things like “Putin should be assassinated!”
The average American is an embarrassment to anyone in the world with a brain and it’s mostly the fault of state education and state media in the US. Two atrocities in this country that have failed the American tax payer. Nearly everyone is a complete imbecile and it’s all by design.
Consider this quote by John D. Rockefeller, philanthropist and one of the masterminds behind compulsory schooling:
“I don’t want a nation of thinkers, I want a nation of workers.”
Schooling and education are two different things.
Someone who is being educated will be told, “Do some research on this topic. Study the evidence, weigh both sides, and make an informed conclusion.”
Someone who is being schooled is told, “This is how it is because scientists, historians, and other people who are smarter than you have already figured it out. There’s no need to look into it further.”

Historians puzzle at how Mosul Iraq, a city of 3 million, was flattened twice with American airstrikes in 2003 and 2017, without a single photograph of dead bodies being published.

You're not wrong but I will say this. There are huge differences between bombing, invading, occupying, and annexing.
That isn't a defense of our actions since WW2, many of which are indefensible. It isn't a defense of are actions with regards to Ukraine, Russia, and that region as a whole. We are the reason for what is happening in Ukraine. That much is certain. However, while we have bombed multiple countries to the brink of non-existence, killing thousands... MILLIONS, of women and children. While we have waged regime change war after regime change war, some being limited skirmishes that never even receive airtime, in an attempt to remake the globe in our image, since WW2, how many countries have we occupied? And I don't mean pseudo occupation, having a military presence in an active warzone. I mean occupation. How many countries have we attempted to annex?
Our government isn't perfect. Our current leader is as about as bad as it gets, by our standards, because it could be so much worst. However, you can't sit here and act informed. Act as if you are so knowledgeable of geo-politics, and sit here with this "Putin's not so bad. He's ok. He's doing what any leader would do." song and dance."
Doesn't mean I support going to war or sending tax dollars to Ukraine. Just calling bullshit of this thread. We should be calling light to the attrocities of our own government but not as a defense to the actions of Russia.
TIME TO BRING BACK THE OBAMA CAGES!

After a roadside bomb killed a marine in his Battalion, 24 Iraqi women and children were shot dead by Staff Sgt. Frank Wuterich and his marines. Wuterich acknowledged in military court that he gave his men the order to "shoot first, ask questions later" after the roadside bomb explosion.
Wuterich told military judge Lt. Col. David Jones "I never fired my weapon at any women or children that day." On January 24, 2012, Frank Wuterich was given a sentence of 90 days in prison along with a reduction in rank and pay.
No other marines were charged.
The point is to not let emotional outrage drive decision making. "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone."

Economic hardship in the Buffalo region was felt throughout most RV parking lot sites, fresh water became a highly sought after commodity which drove the price of a single 335ml bottle out of most squatters price range,,,the price of soap also soared,,,they don't even know about liquid detergent up there so that's a non issue, although the price on that remained relatively unchanged to pre-pandemic prices.
But the most basic answer to your question is men in Buffalo just love to eat sauce, specially at bowling alleys and truck stops,,,don't ask why, it's a very touchy subject for the local residents,,,not that there's anything wrong with that.
