The problem with this forum is that if you back or favor or allow for a Democratic point of view you are immediately a socialist Hillary lover, and if you back a Trump or Republican point of view you are a narcissistic, ego driven racist pig. There really is very little open minded discussion or debate here, and that is reflective of today's partisan politics. You have to be all the way right or all the way left in this forum. That is not a sign of loyalty to one or the other belief system, it is a sign of rampant intolerance.
I'm not racist ..and I can prove I'm not a racist.. I grew up in a small town in the Mid-West ( polulation 10,000) I lived with Blacks,,,we had a couple black families living there and they didn't give anyone any trouble...sorta kept to themseves.. In fact not a white person, in that whole town could be considered racist..nothing to be racist about ..since the blacks there didn't bother nobody....Yes sirree Bob..that proves I'm not a racist.....

You gotta wonder where it leads. I would bet millions of times in over 100 years the wife would yell "pick up pancake syrup" as her husband went out the door to the super market, and when he got there he would grab a bottle of Aunt Jemima's, It was on the table when he was a boy and a teenager and has been on the table every time for years that his wife did the majority of the shopping. No thought, no racism, just a brand we are used to and like.
Pardon the political incorrectness. I suppose it should be a person yelling at another person, since hinting that in some homes the (w-person) does the majority of the shopping and the (h-person) is merely a dolt that needs detailed instructions is faux pas.

Bisquick pancake mix is better and I use real maple syrup but Aunt Jemima always comes through in a pinch. When I was a kid we used it without a second thought. Even into young adulthood, not necessarily for mix (Bisquick!) but for syrup it was always Aunt Jemima or Mrs. Buttersworth. I've never one heard somebody say, "Yo, i'm really offended by these pancakes!" I mean what white ultra liberal or uppity arsed Harward black person came up with this bull crap?
I don't think any American family of any color ever gave a sh/t about the design of the label. Folks have a traditional or preferred brand and it ain't the label selling the product. Mrs. Butterworths and Log Cabin are excellent family traditional products, and I confess myself, I have gone over to real maple syrup (real butter as well). jm2c
Who in their right mind would want to go into law enforcement starting today over the next 5 years? We are soon to be facing a critical shortage of law enforcement personnel nationwide as the resignations continue to pour in.
I can't blame the Atlanta cops for walking out. Cops don't make great money, risk their lives every day to protect US ALL, and for all that they are branded as an enemy of the people. It's disheartening and sad.
Log Cabin syrup is to thin. Aunt Jamima will be missed...that was one thick tasty maple.
Last statement first: Aunt Jemima is maple-flavored, not real Vermont Maple Syrup. The price, as well as the label tells you that.
As for who would want to go into law enforcement the next 5 years that is easy. Any young, black person with a criminal justice degree or experience in Military Police. Rapid advancement and career stability would be almost guaranteed. Disciplinary actions would be almost non-existent, no matter how many times you shot someone, black or white. Other, lesser, disciplinary actions would be handled with a wink and a nod. In ten years 50% of them would be watch commanders, and in twenty years at least 20% of them would be chiefs. The rest would slide into a nice retirement system with no financial concerns. Sounds pretty good to me.

Good for them. This country has gone bonkers and losing its moral compass over a false BLM pretense. Maybe the people of ATL (and all our cities) will realize again that the police are a force for for good, defending law and order.
Detox.. don't take offense to it. It simply suggests they don't have a response to your argument, and is an effective means of shutting down any debate. It immediately puts you on the defensive that you're not racist and changes the discussion completely.

No way on God's green earth is this cop convicted without jury tampering if it gets that far. When the DA is fired all charges should be dropped.
