I'm still calling bullshit but i'm going to be real. I know we're just strangers on the internet and all but i'd be kinda butt hurt if you were in Portland and didn't hit me up. I would've liked the opportunity to atleast take you out for drinks, and if you're the outdoors type, maybe on a hike or out on the river.

I went on a few hikes, one included that dumb waterfall, saw that dumb rock in the ocean on the coast, went behind some dumb mansion with rose bushes that overlooked the city, went to a rose garden and a dumb Japanese garden thingamajig and parked in front of the tennis courts. 

In all honestly Oregon is a very nice place but the far left policies have destroyed Portland.

We went to visit my girls brother. He lives near TopGolf in Hillsboro. 

Facebook has removed xxxxxx to the Facebook profile believed to belong to Ahmad Al Issa, the person identified by police as the King Soopers shooting suspect who killed 10 in the Boulder, Colorado shooting.  I know it can be hard to break away to meet a complete stranger when in an "in law" type setting. And, quite frankly, it can be hard to get over the misgivings about meeting a complete stranger for the first time but I would've really liked the opportunity to atleast take you all out for dinner and drinks.

This is actually the argument that made me leave the left in my 20’s. I was a democrat and debating someone (red beard ctg) on the right about gun control and they mopped the floor with me. It made me look at everything I thought I knew.

I mean, obviously it's world politics so i'm sure it's more complicated than that but essentially, yeah, I would imagine oil had something to do with it. It's what Tulsi Gabbert calls regime change wars.

The sad reality is that the war on terror started with us chasing goat herders around the hindu hush and rapidly deteriorated into an endless cycle of these regime change skirmishes disguised as confronting humanitarian crisis. Like all of a sudden we care about middle easterns even though we've been engaging in a non-stop robo-bombing campaign all across the region for close to close to 20 years.

the point is the last republican government made a massive mistake and as a result we are mired in middle east quiksand . and that doesnt een count the financial devastation of 2008 for which we r all paying for to this day and beyond .

then a democrat government comes in and although they r not saints   they r not the ones who made the mistake but they r the ones who had to clean up the mess  under obama .  which he and joe biden did .
