4leaf, i usually like your picks, and i'm actually on Florida too, but reading "florida DESTROYS georgia" makes me a little nervous.
Florida has a really banged up and young secondary and georgia has got some big play receivers. hopefully Florida's front 4 can get good pressure and let the rest of the D drop back to help out in coverage.

Georgia is a five yards and a cloud of dust team.
Two starting running backs are OUT for the season.
Henderson has a bad hammy so the top reciever is also OUT or will play HURT. That leaves Moreno and Caleb King the freshman that Richt is considering pulling the red shirt off of so that the dawgs will have some semblence of a running team. Moreno is good for 15-20 carries and NO MORE.
Now UGA is forced into a shootout with Teabow and the Gator offense. Sorry, I dont think so. I live 15 minutes from the Georgia campus. I know what's up.

Sounds good to me. Thanks a lot 4leaf. If nothing else, i figured Tebow is the best player in the country and he'll pull through in the clutch. ||an_cheers.gif' border=0>

4leaf, living 15 minutes from the campus you should know the problem is not the running back. If oreno needs to carry 30 times, he can. The redshirt won't come off, they'll use the walk-on if necessary. The problem here is Ga's offensive line. They haven't shown up for a strong physical defensive front all year. They won't be able to run because Fla will dominate the line. Stafford started to show signs of improvement vs Gators last year and finished strong. Hasn't come back this year. Gators will cover, but don't look for a 20+ point win.

UMUSCME,
Nobody here is talking about a Tennesee unranked team that kicked Georgia's ass. We are talking about a very damn good Florida team playing a not so good Georgia team that couldn't even cover against Vandy. ||an_laugh.gif' border=0>

I'm not here to talk anyone out of their picks. If you like Florida then bet'em. Personally, however, I don't think it's good wager. This is why Georgia, playing on a neutral field, is my top play of the week.
A play on Georgia game follows 2 powerful (and relevent) trends.
First, dogs are 61% (ATS) in SEC vs SEC matchups this year, and 74% (ATS) if you eliminate the dreadful Mississippi & Mississippi State teams from the equation. Note that neither Mississippi team is playing here so the 74% is operational percentage here.
Second, Georgia is coming off of a bye week and Florida is not. Teams coming off of a bye week (this year) when their opponets are not are 65% (ATS) overall, and 73% (ATS) in BCS conferences. The SEC is a BSC conference so we'll be working with the 73% figure.
Therefore, Georgia finds itself in very powerful 74% and 73% winning situations entering this contest.
Furthermore, Florida enters the game coming off of a bruising 3-game stretch where they played Auburn, LSU and Kentucky on consecutive weeks. The Gators of course lost two of those games and only covered the third game because Kentucky elected not to attempt the extra point at the end of the game. Now they have to go against another very physical team in the Georgia Bulldogs. That's not a good situation for the Gators particularly since their top two offense weapons are banged up - QB Tim Tebow and WR Andre Caldwell. Tebow has a bruised non-throwing shoulder which will limit his running, and Caldwell may miss the game entirely.
Lastly, this is a huge rivalry game, played at a neutral site, that has been decided by a touchdown or less the last 5 years. I'll gladly take the 8 points.
There are no guarantees in wagering. All you can do is try to put the odds in your favor and hope for the best. Georgia is a very high percentage play, and one that will likely having Bulldogs backers standing in line at the deposit window on Tuesday morning!!!

4 Leaf, I see it about 14. The only way it comes out different is if Stafford has a superb day. It hasn't all been drops by the receivers for the Dawgs.
I see both scores a little higher. Fla 38-24
