Rough couple of days. I haven't been focused preparing for a trip. I'm not leaving for terribly long but it gets harder and harder to leave. So I have to spend quality family time, etc before leaving. At the airport now. My reads were good yesterday but I money management poor. Sundays are typically slow days. I don't tend to have a ton on the board after having tons of action of Fridays. It's a day for me to assess the last week, and the coming week. There were three posted leans that should've been plays, and one play that should've been avoided. Then I chased on a play that shouldn't have never been in the equation. I traded water. I know how to tread water so I never drown. I know to pack water so I never go thirsty. I had a rough Saturday that affected my mindset for Sunday but once accounting is done, I still didn't eat a loss for the week. I'll post an updated record in a sec but first I am going to enjoy my beverage. PDX is a fair trade airport. It is against their policy to price gouge travelers simply because they are in the airport.

And the numbers aren't really moving. I locked in Oral Roberts because after their performance, people who don't follow the Summit league are gonna flock. In all honesty, this is still a bigger number than I care to lay but it is what it is. Same with Gonzaga. They have had such a down year by their standards that they could very well miss covering but it's still Gonzaga. And in this conference you take them when the number is that low save for when on the road facing maybe 2-3 teams. Punters are most likely gonna back Gonzaga as well and the number will go up. However I'm hoping I can get Hofstra to move down to 3.5. I'm not at my computer and haven't looked into where the money is going so it could go up. I would still like it at 4.5 truth be told. As I said in another post, small conference teams live and die by the three. They aren't able to recruit size. These teams often have 3-4 true guards on the floor 6'3" and under. These teams shoot jumpers. Chattanooga shoots a ton of threes and they are good at it. If their shot is dropping, and Hofstra's isn't, Chattanooga could upset. None of these teams are really build to work the post and get a bucket when jumpers aren't falling. They will continue to shoot. Teams continue to shoot threes up 20, often leading to comebacks. This is life in the small conferences. However Hofstra is still the better team. I'm waiting it out to see if the number goes down but if it goes up I'll still probably hit it at 4.5. if I can get that win in, I'll be more inclined to do some other things.

Been a rough couple days. 3-1 today feels more like normal. We all have a bad day or two in this business. It's a marathon not a sprint. Foyle was actually somewhat of a fan favorite during the "Thunder" Warriors era and even in retirement. At one point he had some kind of community relations position with the team. We loved all those guys on those dogshit teams.
