Men of honor! It's that time of year again. I'm typically not the one to post season threads and records. I think they're just big stroke offs, unless you're trying to build a tout resume. And I detest touts. Plus I have a very aggressive, very high volume system that includes everything from quarter unit plays to ten unit plays and consists of mostly 1h, 2h, and live wagers. It'd be a lot to package and log into covers. And much like a system that is predicated on high MLs, regardless of how profitable it may be over time, taken as a snapshot of a couple days, a week, etc, if someone were to tail, they could lose a lot in quick succession. So I mostly use these threads to a break from capping. To crack dick jokes and bring humor. I'll talk shop, the real X's and O's of sports, with anybody willing but there's only a handful of guys on this site that are even into real X's and O's.

However, during this time of year, play is tightened, and the amount of action (volume) is decreased, making it easier to post. Last year, or maybe the year before, I did a post season thread as I tend to focus on smaller conferences, so I am able to post some plays in the secondary tournaments that some may overlook. That was a winning thread. I figured this year I'd start a little earlier to include some late season and conference tournament plays. I'm not a high traffic poster so you can bet I'll probably go off the rails a bit because, why not? There's not a ton of people that will actually be reading it. And those that do would probably already know what to expect from me. I know there are a few who will read it simply from seeing my name in the title. Especially here in the box. So BOL to all PB bros. Let's have a good March in preparation for baseball season!

Basically a wash yesterday but Wright gave me an opportunity to talk about how I normally run my system. I had Wright -11 1h. They started off slow, made up the difference, them hovered around 10 for the majority of the half. Just could never get over the hump. With a first half wager such as this, if my team blows it out and covers the full game spread in the first half a la Liberty, I do nothing second half. Take my winnings and run. If the team hovers around the 1h spread, and barely covers, or barely misses a la Wright, then I am looking at live and/or second half opportunities. A team in this position has to maintain their pace and will usually cover the second half as opposed to a team up big that cruises and doesn't cover the second half, and sometimes even gets backdoored for the game. In this instance, Wright covered the second half spread of -9, and covered the FG spread of 18.5 though just barely. I never tracked the live line as I had no interest as I'm sure it hovered around the pregame line.

Has Tulsa given up on the season? I have found myself fading them a bunch and winning but I haven't paid full attention to how historically bad there run has been until now. I'll take a flier.

It's crazy how the Buckeyes pull their heads out of their asses for one game and oddsmakers jump right back on their dicks. I cashed a posted 2h wager on Ohio St this Sunday but I'm not ready to fall in love with them. I'm not saying I'm on Maryland, but this thread isn't simply to post plays. It's for conversation. I'm not really a Big 10 guy in hoop aside from a blind love for Iowa. I dabble in the conference a bit in football. A guy would have to at least take a look at Maryland here though. I'll pass but it's worth digging into. I'm not sure Sunday was anything more than just a good spot for State.
