This has to be the dumbest, most ridiculous take I have seen on this site, which is full of dumb takes, in a long time. Just for the record, you're positing that the market saw significant gains because investors were relieved thst there wouldn't be a civil war.

I'm convinced that some foreigners go about obsessing over the US, but their only window into American society is cable news and social media. So they convince themselves that America is on the brink of civil war. They are consuming the lowest form of media, which is geared towards the lowest of intellects. And i'm guesing they consume a bunch of it. No sane and rational person has at any point during this election cycle, nor at any point in the last 150 years, believed America was on the brink of civil war.

Quite honestly, this country is a corporate oligarchy. Many of the oligarchs aren't even American. The people in positions to move markets were at no point worried about there being a civil war because it would be them and only them who would have the power to initiate such a thing. They create the narratives that move men, and the narratives that move markets. Very little is left up to coincidence.

I find it amusing how so many Europeans believe themselves to be so much better educated, so much more sophisticated than the average American. Really, they're nothing but backwater hicks themselves. It's why they obsess over trashy American cable news and social media. Amd make comments about civil war. It fits their intellect.

Your health care system, your school system, and your social security system begs to differ - unless you are in the top 1%, you are basically a slave to the well-connected and the super-rich. Not any country. We can. No other country could. Denmark couldn't. We can. It's a too big to fail situation. Even our enemies are heavily invested in our success.

Denmark, on the other hand, is a country of, what, four ir five million? Six? Yeah, we get it. Denmark is great. Do you realize how many cities and Metropolitan areas in the U.S. have more people than Denmark? It's like a resident of some small, affluent suburban enclave waxing about how New York has to get their stuff together. You have no frame of reference. You have no idea.

Denmark is great, but an internet troll like you is probably below or barely above the cost of living. You sit there probabl, in an overly priced, tiny little apartment, and you clearly consume American cable news and social media. And that's where you get your narratives.  I get it. What about Denmark though. Sure, you guys have some natural resources but not a ton. Maybe you have some petroleum but you're not a oil super power like Norway. Maybe you have some aerable land but I would guess not a ton. Like any Scandinavian country, i'm guessing you guys are big in tech, big in pharma, possibly big in medical devices. Yay? Nay? Close? Your tech sector wouldn't be worth a darn without partnership with American companies. Nobody's would. Your pharmaceutical companies probably wouldn't be worth a darn with out American customers. The economy of any country/region would crumble is America decided to distance ourselves from it, with the exception of the Saudis. And let us not forget, you guys have no military of significance. No weapons manufacturing. You guys can exist up there in the North Sea and be pacifists or neutral, or whatever it is you're considered because if anything were to ever happen, you could come crying to us. A country like India or Pakistan could boat race you guys if they wanted too.

So yeah, sit in your tiny little Danish apartment, sip tea with your pinky up, and troll America, a country you know nothing about. Keep getting your narratives about America from social media. It just shows that you're a cretin. Keep making comments like, "The market's doing good because there's not gonna be a civil war." It just shows us you're stupid, and you don't understand the market.

Let’s say you dont have a choice and I dont - what does that change ? Does that mean you are the greatest nation in the world ? Does that mean you can’t learn from others? Does that mean it is a good Economy to basically live of borrowed money (and have done so since 2001 I might add) No - this is not me trying to come in here and say booh whoo we are better than you (if it comes across as such I apologise - it is atleast not my intend) Denmark are actually your guys allies and have been for ages - but it would be equal to you telling a person from North Korea they aren’t doing great (without comparing you two nations in any other way) - but they are brainwashing you if you for real think US is anything special compared to the rest of the developed world - and maybe so is Denmark - but here they don’t feed us that crap in school or media either

Going back to your first post the average American is considered more “dumb” because your system is build around only wealthy people going to school and they are sorrounded by people of same intellect - they aren’t born more stupid of course but by default the average European has better chances of excelling - and that is what we discuss with “average”

Scandinavians are always like, "We figured out health care for 5 million people, why can't America figure it out for 400 million, including a bunch of illegals and people on visas. It's so easy." Even though you could literally come to America, establish residence, and get a free sex change without ever actually being a citizen. Even though we offer healthcare to anyone who shows up here and Denmark doesn't have to worry about that because they kick out refugees. We're talking about that Denmark, right? We literally take in children from impoverished countries, provide them with medical care and schooling, give them a cute little nickname, call the dreamers, and essentially guarantee them citizenship. None of that in Denmark, right? Kick 'em out. Only Danes are allowed to have dreams in Denmark.

So for those keeping score, Denmark's path to success is advanced industry, low population. Kick out all non-ethnic Danes. Low military spending because America will protect you. And don't worry. Exports to America will also account for a nice chunk of your GDP. Tell me i'm wrong about any of that, I dare you. It's all true.
