Denmark is a beautiful country but vastly different than that of any place in America....values are different and lifestyles are different, but not that there is anything wrong with that....we are just different in may various aspects but the coutryside is beautiful and the people are very nice, or at least they were to me and my family and the rest of us that were there as a soccer team to play the danes in some of their premiere clubs as a kid...

American companies are filled with employees from all across thecdeveloped world. In a global economy, with global industry, one has to pull from a global talent pool. So given adequate reason, i.e. school, work, etc, tons of people want to at least live in America.
As far as just wanting to be American, no. People from developed countries rarely want to just give up their citizenship and live somewhere else. Most people leave their home for work, for love, or for family.
There is one exception to this, based purely on my own anectdotal observation. I have known a fair share of Canadians expats who have lived in the US for decades and are US citizens. Some came for work, sure, but not in the same way as, say, a Scandinavian. When you meet a Scandinavian, not someone of descent but an actual Scandinavian, they are almost always in tech, or pharmaceuticals, etc. Of all the Canadians I have ever known, they have always had regular jobs. Some in the trades. Some just working menial service industry jobs.

And if you have been to both Sweden and Norway and are from the US - you have basically already been to Denmark (as it is more or less just a hybrid of those 3) :) The 3 Scandinavian countries are basically the same people - Denmark is maybe a bit more a discount version of the cities you guys have compared to the other two - where they are way more beautiful nature wise - if you like nature etc. I would also suggest Faroe Islands (which we also "own") they are very pretty

How many people from Ontario ever pick up and move across the country to B.C.? Talk about two separate worlds. With that said, I would 100% move to Canada.
Are those numbers people living in either country or working in? I would be curious as to how the numbers would change if Canadians who are retired and are living in US were taken into account. I would also live in certain spots in US with no issues . I appreciate the response.

I actually agree with benhogan76 that you seem to be one of the posters here who is actually well-versed and has some good points (that we don't agree on a lot of things isn't a problem that is what makes it fun - and I "forgave" you for the Greenland comment a long time ago
