Good luck bro, I am done wasting time on this. Wish you the best on all of your future bets on "fixed sports". No disrespect intended, but we are clearly both wasting our time. Even if we disagree, I appreciate that you did not resort to personal insults, which happens far too often in this forum. Good luck with your bets.

@Originalsix88 Dude who’s saying this shit started back in the 60s? I’ve already explained how starting in the late 80s through the 90s and most of the 00s none of this stuff even occurred to myself or anyone I knew. That’s just speaking from my own experience. But nobody complained about this stuff or even batted an eyelash.Absolutely backwards coaching “decisions” were not being made back then or at least not even 1% as often as they’re being made now. Now over the past 10-15 years the amount of games that have been lost due to children playing Madden type of play calling and unbelievable reffing - WITH THE ADDED BENEFIT OF REPLAY WHICH WAS NOT AVAILABLE PRIOR TO AROUND 2000 - is eye opening. That’s what I’m saying.
Quite the nonsense opinion you got there, eh? You sure nobody reacted similarly back then to today's soft marshmallows who need to find any excuse possible to blame for their pathetic life long losing streak during Tuesday morning envelope exchanges?

Like I said man. One of you, just one of you dolts explain the play calling in Super Bowl 51. Explain Matt Ryan - not a rookie QB - snapping the ball up 8 points with the clock running and 4 minutes and change left - with 15 seconds left on a running clock. 15 seconds with roughly 4 1/2 minutes left. An eternity at the end of a football game.

I knew at least probably 200 people who watched football on a weekly basis in the 90s. Probably more. Not one person brought this up ever. There was never a reason to. Bill Parcells wasn’t calling Hail Marys on 3rd and inches up by 3 touchdowns late in the 3rd quarter of a playoff game. It wasn’t happening. It is now. Period.

@chic-cardinals What??? Have you even read the book? He talks about football culture and painkiller use in the 60's, not fixed games.
Um.. you obviously can't read between the lines of the book. But I'm not referring that.
This quote by Peter Gent.
, and was attributed to Peter Gent, member of the Dallas Cowboys from 1964-68 and author of the great book (later a movie) North Dallas Forty:
"For there should be a fundamental difference between professional and amateur sports that goes beyond the technical distinction of whether athletes make money from their sport. I learned the difference at the end of training camp my rookie year with the Dallas Cowboys. Management called a meeting to explain the responsibilities of being a professional football player. The man to give the best advice was the team's public relations director. He told us: 'Boys, this is show business.'
"With these words in mind, nothing about professional sports, even Howard Cosell, is mystifying. Professional athletes are first and foremost show business, dealing in illusion and entertainment. The first responsibility of the players is to the audience, not themselves. If the audience wants winners, that is what is given. If it wants losers, that also it will get. The principle is the same for midget wrestling and the National Football League."

Also, that quote along with what Howard Cosell had to say in his book years ago. Is in this link
In all seriousness. It quite interesting what he says about Nfl . It's a bit if a scroll but it reads quickly.

So you think the game in 1990 is the same game being played today?
A whole 200 people? Were they all talking to you regularly on Thursday nights? Did it start with a bar where everyone knew your name? Then moving on to a Monk's Cafe? Ending up at a cafe named Central Perk?

Watch the clumsy 30 yard TD run by Mahomes against the Titans. Not one stiff arm, not a juke, not even a fukn hurdle, and yet 6 potential NFL defensive players are suddenly on a mushroom trip trying to tackle this fool. Stop it man. You just don’t get it. Professional soccer games have been already outed for match fixing but that just can’t happen in good ol’ Murica because we’re just some good honest hard workin’ folk out here!

I’m just giving a rough estimate dummy. I was in elementary and high school back then. Most everyone in the area was a huge sports fan. People would talk about the games every week. The topic of fixing matches was never brought up. No coach made any asinine decisions that would make you think so. Even a bad coaching decision had some sense of merit to it. There have been more than enough games today where that isn’t the case.

@Raiderpug Except you’re mixing up mistakes like fumbles with premeditated decisions like passing the ball when your team is up by 16 points on 3rd and 1 - in shotgun formation with an empty back field no less - with roughly 8.5 minutes left in the 4th quarter of the fuckin Super Bowl. You should probably let that pug make your major life decisions for you, you’re not that bright.
How! He got the call on the sideline, stayed in bounds and fumbled on purpose! The other players didn't get the memo to lay down!

You still pissed? I told you I would assist you on getting your GED. I know I blew you off on the first 27 test you failed, but hey, on the 28th attempt I will help. You will get that promotion to fry cook!
Will it be apart of the 1% revenue they get from sports books? Yep they are worried about those "millions and millions" your low IQ ass thinks they depend on

Americans wagered $2.1 billion in August 2020, an all-time single-month record. Sportsbooks generated $119.4 million in revenue, trailing only the $138 million held in January 2020. The August 2020 revenue total was a 90.2 percent increase from August 2019.

Thanks buddy. But the point with these guys is use of "Vegas" and how "Vegas" controls and the millions that "Vegas" makes and depends on from sports books. Which is the link I pasted. Not all the other states that don't use casinos like "Vegas" does.
Appreciate the info.

Explain how your fixtard ideology inserts potential life altering neck and spinal injuries like last minute late in the game...is a player like him in on it and signed off on being part of the plot to sacrifice his body and future ability to walk? Or is he one of the innocent ones who isn't part of the script insiders in order to give the game an appearance of realism?
If he's in on it, then that makes sense because them the game and the players have about 5 minutes of screen time to all act very religious and emotional to garden sympathetic feelings from the TV watchers...these rare 5 minutes within the script always attempt to re-humanize the players and the game to the fans who know they are criminals, bigots, racists, murders and wife beaters...this seems like the most plausible explanation...and i see these extreme injuries always happen on stand alone games in prime time.
Please explain your knowledge about this to enlighten people from this planet, and why things are done differently on yours
