Some years ago, seven... eight... it was before I moved, all the Bros, being both coworkers and homies, we'd have group texts. So at one point one of the crew became vegan. And the group texts would often turn into the debates on the merits, or lack there of, of veganism. And as a few of the homies would go back and forth, I remember thinking, "For a bunch of dudes, blue-collar dudes, this is the "happiest" group text ever." That's how I feel about these threads.

i dunno if its strictly debating with a goal to find resolution necessarily,given that yeah most people are entrenched in their sides and probably wont budge...but its just natural and part of human nature anytime you see something you vehemently disagree with to point out why and how,right??who knows,maybe there are other people that may read a thread such as this and find information (from either side of the divide) useful and use it to widen their scope or change their own opinion somehow.
