"dominating the Lakers for 45 minutes".....
So if they "dominated" then explain to me how the Lakers were able to grab the lead many times at different junctures throughout the game...of course along with the most important juncture of the game; when the clock hits 0:00.0 in the 4th quarter!
By the way...what happened to you and "your boy Lou"???

If George Karl is too fuckin dumb to have Billups inbound the ball after game #1....then Denvar deserves to lose.

If I am mistaken, Lakers had the lead in the early part of the 1Q, then had the lead again at the later part of the 4th(back and forth),so what's the "grab the lead many times at different junctures through out the game" came from?? Lakers won the game and it's all that matters but that storyline doesn't seem to fit.

You are correct, the Lakers had the LEAD only during the 1st and 4th quarters...that was my mistake. HOWEVER, they were down by less than 5 pts most the game and they TIED it at 39 in the 2nd, TIED it at 52 in the 3rd, TIED it at 64 in the 3rd... Then of course during the games most important point, when the game is on the line, in the 4th quarter is when the Lakers CLOSED the deal.
Other statistics that defy the philosophy that the Nuggets "dominated" that game last night:
Largest Lead - Lakers 6, Nuggets 8 (looks pretty even to me)
Turnovers - Lakers 12, Nuggets 11 (again, looks pretty even to me)
Rebounds - Lakers 43, Nuggets 43 (dead even, and this is a stat that the home team almost always wins)
Blocks - Lakers 5, Nuggets 7 (pretty even, especially considering the Nuggets are known for their shot-blocking)
So I just don't see where the Nuggets "DOMINATED" at all...plus, where the game was eventually won and what killed the Nuggets was shooting... FG's - Lakers 45.8%, Nuggets 39.3%... 3's - Lakers 31.6%, Nuggets 18.5%...THAT is where the game was won...AND lost!

LF74...who would you rather face, cavs or magic?
I would say they're about equal at this point...I would give an edge to the Cavs though because they would have home court. IF we face the Magic, the LAKERS would have the home court advantage. Even though the dream matchup for fans is Kobe vs. LeBron...as a LAKER fan, I would definitely rather face the Magic simply based on the home court advantage.

You are correct and I wasn't trying to pick on you. Clearly, no team is dominating the other right now.

Dang, you don't think it's bit premature to think about that.

Not a fair assessment at all. Lebron is carrying the entire team on his back. Absolutely no help the final 4 min. They are both Great players. Can we leave it at that?
