hit iowa st. for the big play to mitigate the bleeding from the bomb gtown dropped on me on OT. i'm tellin' ya, boys. iowa st gonna be the real deal this season and they're now just getting healthy.
2-4 for -1 unit and some change. congratulations to patrick eweing for being the first college team on my no play list this season. i believe i'm 0-3 playing on him.
on the ravens -140 for three units today. i'll put some on the bears in a little bit as well.
some early thoughts for college hoops. gonna wait a little before i make any official plays:
as for hoops, i wish i could've grabbed marquette at the opening number, but i still like them at 9. xavier isnt the same as last year. they've just to anyone competitive by a minimum of 10 points. now they have to go play against a ticked off marquette team that just got blown away by st. john's. they should make 3's rain tonight. xavier has owned market for the most part of the last decade and i think they make a statement today. marquette -9
seton hall should be able to take care of business over depaul today, who has been on a landslide of losses. the only problem is seton hall has failed to cover 3-7 ats as a favorite which gets me kind of nervous. depaul is 1-4 vs. top 100 teams and seton hall has won the last four match ups. think seton hall money line or the over would be the way to go.

agreed on Iowa State. They might be the 2nd best team in the conference 
already locked in Marquette earlier ( still -8 at my book but I'm seeing 9 almost everywhere else). Love SDSU and the over but I hate backing road favs around -3 or -4. the dogs seem to win those outright at an enormous clip but this SD team is so bad I can't see it happening but the lack of LM has me on the buyout button.

Early morning eyeball:
Nets +10.5 and ML +400
Brooklyn quietly improving and gelling with all these young kids...confidence booming, and they find themselves one game away from finally reaching .500..for this squad, thats the benchmark where they want to get to...and then ultimately surpass...this line is inflated towards Boston simply out of recency bias of these teams name brands...risky wager perhaps to back the nets on a b2b, but when youre playing winning hoops on a young team, you really just want to keep playing to maintain that good mojo.
Plus, Celtics are due for a head scratching home game dud imo

i was looking to go the other way in this one and was going to ask for feedback, so i'm glad you're talking about it. i'm not one for system plays, but isn't there an unspoken rule about playing against teams that covered as a favorite and are a dog the following game? i do know that withint he last ten h2h appearances, brooklyn has been favored by 9.5 and above, they have covered. with how they have been rolling,t hough, this kind of scares me that they throw out such a high line. it almost feels like bait
