happy new years, jegs, and the rest of you fellas! finally, the day i've been waiting for: in conference play! thsi one looks ugly and it isn't locked in yet, but if luke garza isn't playing, gotta roll with carson edwards and purdue at -8. purdue has not been impressive, relying too much on edwards and not enough in the paint. haarms has been a real disappoint as the new haas. kid is a massive poosy, however, with all these injuries to iowa and the luck they have had against purdue over the last few years, gotta roll with the stronger trending team based on history. not only that, but a ranked team against an un ranked team, in conference, as an 8 point dog?!

i also think the first half under might be worth a look for purdue. if they did start shooting hot, i would expect it to be in the second half of the game. 

big revenge spot for nc st today. this is the perfect situation for them. miami is not the same team they were int he past and have not been impressive against anyone you would consider competitive. really hate road favorites under four points but i don't see how miami hangs around in this one. the only thing somewhat worrisome is that it's nc st's second road game. 

michigan should beat the daylights out of penn st. that team has been a massive disappointment on offense all year. their defense grinds it out untl the final five minutes and then they just collapse. the only way i see them staying withint he spread is if they start fouling up a storm late, which is where michigan struggles. but for them to keep up, penn st would have to score, which is something they're not very good at this year.. just some early thoughts. haven't locked in anything yet and i may wait another week. playing pretty cautious after getting scraped early on in non conference play

ODB, I actually lean PSU +11.5 in this one.....MIchigan hasn't looked unstoppable lately like they did in the first month of the season.....and with the low total it suggests this could be a close one.   Just a lean for now......curious to see where the line goes.

Just something i noticed is happening alot lately:

Bet365 and WillHill live lines are off by 4pts at exactly the same time in a hoops game.

Happened again just now with St.Peters up 29-20...b365 had the line St.P -8.5 while WHill had it at -4.5...this sets up for a free 4pt middle opportunity...i didnt take it because i dont like getting involved at -EV here with St.P at -4.5 (original line was +2)...and we all know first h / second half flip flops are possible and Sienna could easily just win the game SU with a much better 2h...

But i ask...have any of your american books started to offer really scattered ingame lines at the exact same moment in a game like this? 4pts difference is something definitely worth looking into for longterm middling opportunites.

we get the scrappy lines now and then in american books too. I just cashed in on NCAAW live bet for 500 to 420 when a team was up 6-2 but book had them as 2-6 and gave +3.5 points for quarter on the leading team. Quick hit and cashed. Quarter ended at 12-7. 

Free money but those scrappy lines are little rare.

was going to make a play on michigan st but langford has been downgraded to doubtful. was also going to play ucf, but big man taco is now listed questionable. will watch these games to see the momentum and maybe make a 2h play

gonna lock in d's red raiders for now at -11.5. kansas st life is flashing before their eyes with all the massive injuries to their key players. i don't see them hanging around here. i can't even see them being motivated for this game
